The aesthetics which the AI chooses to mimic don't reflect any objective beauty (if such a standard exists at all) rather than the desires of the people who made it. They've designed it to drown every frame with superfluous detail regardless of context or narrative because it's trying to wow you like any advertisement, ironically making it more generic and forgettable.
