Flipping Through 136 Layouts!

- Hello again with another ginormous pile of layouts, just over a year later! To explain my current situation... I put layouts away chronologically by subject so Jane has her own, Fox has his own, I have my own, we have family adventure scrapbooks, etc. It takes a long time to figure out when the pictures were taken and where the layout fits into its correct album, so they accumulate in a stack and have been since February 2016! Anyone want to come help me?? :)
Paige... those are so beautiful! But even more important (than the incredible talent, gorgeous layouts, pretty colors, and intricate stitching...) is the unforgettable family moments you've captured of your family. THAT is truly priceless. Thank you for sharing.
SO TRUE!!! Thank you!
I loved every single one of these layouts! Thank you for sharing all your beautiful layouts!

You are very creative and talented, congratulations !!!

All amazing layouts! Found great inspiration here. Thanks! Jess :)
Btw, I read on your IG post that you keep your pages in one of your cubbys and it takes a long time to sort. May I suggest that you create 3 dividers, one for each subject (can be a simple 12x12 sheet with a small tag attached to the top) and so as you create you put your LO under the divider. You would still be able to store them the way you do and you would still need to arrange them by date when you're ready to place them in albums but this would help you. You would be able to organize the family LOs all in one go or Janes LOs all in one go without needing to shuffle through all the saved up LOs you created. Hope this helps :)
That's a really great idea! Thank you!
Thank goodness for screen shots 😊 I have some new ideas to try out very soon!
Hahaha I agree! Thank you!!

Thank you so much!
Hi Paige! What an amazing collection! I was wondering about your layout @ 21:08 - the Disneyland Paris layout. How did you print all of your photos out in tiny cute squares like that? Photoshop maybe? or a Lightroom collage template? Would love to know how to do this efficiently!! Thanks!
I use Picasa to make the collages and then get them printed at Costco :)
Amazing Layouts! Thanks a lot for the Inspiration!
I'm curios about how you store them? Do you put them in clear foils and then in an Album?
Love watching your videos!
Yes I put them in clean page protectors and then they go into scrapbook albums :)
Amazing!! Great job. TFS
THANK YOU!
hello i follow you from France paige. i love your layout!
Thank you soooo much!
Your pages are amazing!
That was amazing and truly inspiring! What is the bow punch you use to get those cute bows on your layout? (at 11min 3 sec) Thank you for sharing, I've seen lots of wonderful ideas and techniques for me to try!
Thank you so much! It's a fiskars mini bow punch: www.google.com/shopping/product/1190647110459931305?lsf=seller:3122104,store:15562042839441390256&prds=oid:10609883678916735370&q=fiskars+mini+bow+punch&hl=en&ei=klCXWZAo07_TAsGUh8gK&Shopping_Desktop_Scrapbook&lsft=gclid:CjwKCAjwoNrMBRB4EiwA_ODYv-u9dl0slXb-smmk7oJTppm9htw3suWzLKjYa5A2KwhtNddJad8EwhoCjXAQAvD_BwE
Thank you :)
beautiful layouts. I am a new subscriber 😊
Woohoo, thank you!!
I love all your LO's,but my favorites are the ones with globes.I'm wondering why you don't put the dates of the pictures on the backs of your LOs as you make them. I think that would really help when you go to put them in their respective albums.
Genius! I need to do that from now on!
Hello, love your layouts. Thankyou for sharing, DO YOU HAVE A PINTEREST BLOG??
You can find my blog here: www.paigetaylorevans.com/ and Pinterest: www.pinterest.com/paigeevans/
Hi Paige! I just came across your you tube channel- WOW! I am SUPER inspired! Everything you touch is amazing! I'm not sure if you still get these comments, as this video is rather old, but if you do is there a template for the stitched states in the heart? I love that so much and want to make one? The time of the video is 13:32. Thanks so much for sharing your talent with the world! It's a prettier place because of you!
Hello hello!! So the states was an image I found on Pinterest and then traced in Silhouette - so it's not an official cut file or anything :)
New subscriber I love your work.
Thank you so much!
So awesome :)
Thank you!
I really love all the layouts you shared in this video! My style is less colorful but now I want to try some of your techniques.. because the result is just lovely. I wanted to ask you about the layout in min 10.03 named " Best Year yet 2015". I was wondering if you had a template for all that stitching! I´d love to try that out but I wouldn´t know where to get such a pretty pattern! :)
Hi Clara! The pattern for that stitching is printed right on the paper, I just stitched over the design :) It's from my Take Me Away collection, Paper 03: www.pinkpaisleestore.com/default.aspx?PageID=829&CategoryID=971&ProductID=17458&RootCatCode=06000
Thanks Page!!!! I didn't know about that paper, I'll get it right away!! 😁
Love all your layouts do you have a process video for the cut and fold hearts near the end 23:59 blue background? Thank you
Hello and thank you!! I don't have a process for that one, but I probably could in the future!!
Can you tell me where you bought the green album storage? It's absolutely gorgeous!!!
When you do the stitching, how do you prevent the papers from creasing as the needle continuously punches holes?
I pre-pierce the holes before stitching :)
@@PaigeTaylorEvans - Makes sense! Wow! The amount of work you put into each layout is so admirable! Your pages are absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing your ideas and for being an inspiration!
All of your pages are Stunning!! I have a question about the Disneyland Paris page at 20:59...how did you make your photos so small?
Thank you!! I used Picasa to make the collage and then printed them and cut them out :)
Hi Paige! We are debating how you`ve created those perfectly square pictures at 21:00 ? Did you use a special software that helped you with the sizing? Is it printed on a bigger sheet or are those small photos? Best regards and greetings from germany! - haha nevermind, just saw the comment from Sonja J lol :D!
I used Picasa and Photoshop and then printed at home :)
Woooooooooooooooow😍😍😍😍😍
At 8:07 (and other pages I just didn't catch the time on them) I see cross-stitching on your layout. Did you use a pattern of some kind to do those? I love an explanation of your process. I just did some cross-stitched letters in my journal a couple of weeks ago, but I'd love to know how you do yours. Thanks. Your layouts are A-mazing!!
Thank you so much! Yes I usually use cut files as templates. Here is a video of mine where I show how I use a cut file as a template for cross stitching: ua-cam.com/video/aSDnUBwJx74/v-deo.html
Paige - Thanks so much for your reply. I'm on the road (thanks to you) to knowing how to do this a bit better. My questions now are these: 1.) If you don't have a cutting machine, is there still a way I could do this that you could suggest? 2.) Does that mean you make all of your cross stitch designs (I noticed that cut file was yours)? and 3.) Are there other cross stitch designs out there for scrapbooking and if so, where can I find them? This is a new discovery for me. I've been cross stitching since I was a child and I've been scrapbooking for about 23 years. I never thought about combining those hobbies until very recently so I'm trying to figure out how to do it. Thanks so much for your help.
If you don't have a die cutting machine I would search on Pinterest for cross stitching patterns - there are many! Print them out, washi tape them onto your page, and pierce the holes. Then refer back to the template for which colors to stitch and where :)
Thanks Paige. I'm fascinated by your "stitching style". I've seen people using lots of machine stitching on their layouts and some even doing hand-stitching, but you've taken it to a whole new level. Very inspiring and beautiful! I also caught one of your videos where you had designed a paper with a cross-stitch pattern and then did a layout with half of it - gorgeous! I'm on the hunt for that paper now. Thanks for your tips!
2:11 did you put dies in that layout? Wild and flower?
Here is a blog post with all of the information about that layout: www.paigetaylorevans.com/2017/01/wild-smile-layout.html
Is that all the albums you have made? Love the layouts!
Yes that's all of them :) Thank you!
I've looked for Kerri Bradford's "Birds on a Wire" cut file and it's not on her web site. 😔
Hello! I've found them here: www.kerribradford.com/shop/thisthat-lucky-just-shapes/
Paige Evans thank you soooo much!! ❤️
I'm so excited! I obviously looked past this type of collection. Thank you so much Paige! -Dana
Wow 136 lo thats great. I dont craft or file my pages in chronological order.
Do you embroider in hand or machine?
I do both :)
