To everyone wondering this does not work. The reason it sends you to older updates is because you are downloading a older version of the game and it doesn’t give you mods. There is a risk for this sometimes you will get IP banned so don’t try this it is impossible to get mods with just quest in gorilla tag.
Hey, how to get your new gorilla tag back is install or uninstall the file or all the mods are the fake ones and then un install CX files explore and then uninstall gorilla tag and reinstall it it might still look like you lost everything but just jump off the side of the mountain and you’ll load into a game you keep your cosmetics

This is the same for me, try restarting the headset (that’s what I’m doing right now) if that does’nt work then delete GT then install it again there should a be a screen and you should click download old or something like that. The reason you lot are getting into older versions is because you are downloading older versions you need to wait for the new update to become a modded APK and update it that way it will not work from updating the store as it thinks its the latest version
Did you restart your oculus cause if you didn’t then that’s bad that happened to me I lost my cosmetics and I got put in the 2021 fall update with the early access badge so you just gotta reset your headset and whatever to work but you still won’t get mod so yeah

if youre wondering why it puts you back in tutorial, its because it unequips all your cosmetics and resets your monkey. you still have the cosmetics tho

Update: meta won’t let you get the new version because they know it’s a mod and it says that it can be used for cheating. You need a pc to do it
