I have both their 450's, SS and NK, I've owned more bikes than you'd believe, I've only sampled these two bikes from CFMoto but I can say, their 450's are impressive. You're gonna find that more and more veteran riders are riding smaller bikes, it's way more fun to ride a smaller, slower bike fast than it is to ride a fast/200 hp bike slow. Mine is the blue/white version btw.
I love that they make small displacement bikes look good. No straight bars and after thought body panels. Ive ridden most of CFmotos bikes at demo days amd they are amazing fun!
After seeing your glowing review of the 450SS as a beginner bike I was sold but I liked the idea of the wider bars/upright ride position, on the NK being my first bike. So i thought you were a bit harsh in this review with warning people about how punchy the NK is down low, given they are the same platform and engine. I just rode the NK then the SS and you were NOT lying! The NK feels like its tuned for the low down response and as a new rider it was way more clunky for me. The SS was next and at low-med speed it fely EXTREMELY different. The SS felt so much smoother to my novice inputs. Also the ride position did not feel intimidating at all. I bought the SS ( SR here in the land of Oz). Keep up the great work man.
I'm a new rider to I just need for work and home then maybe in a year I'll be 100 miles to commute to work what do you think would be better was also looking at MT03
i'm probably getting the black/silver version of this bike as my first bike. it looks and sounds so good. also very lightweight and it has TC, good for a beginner. in my country (Netherlands) they have a 5 year warranty so they must have strong confidence in their bikes. i was looking at the Duke 390 before the 450NK and they only offer 2 years warranty. my minor gripes with this bike is that the passenger seat looks uncomfortable, it looks thin. but i'm guessing nakeds aren't really meant for passenger riding. i've seen some more cushy seats on online so not a huge issue. i'm also a bit concerned about spare parts availability. other than that, this seems like great bang for the buck.
Ey man! When you are about to buy your first motorbike you have to think what are you going to use it for. So if in some case you're thinking about doing routes, going out with friends and etc.. then it's ok. But sometimes you look for a vehicle to "travel" and more when you're in pair. What I mean by that? If you look interesting this bike, go try it first. But the point here is buying something you wont regret. I have a X-ADV 750, my height is around 1,58 (pretty small) and the weight of that bike is 236kg, anyways in a small resume... don't look for something that fits you in weight, endurance etc... Look for something you're going to use, with time you'll fit the bike!
@@tragabaches5429 thanks for your reply. my favorite types of motorcycle looks are dual sport and naked. smaller frame types. but dual sport is probably not good because i live in a city and i don't want to wake everyone up if i ride at morning or late in the evening. i prefer lightweight because it's easier to control. more flickable and easier to filter with. it's mostly for commuting to work, so city riding and some highway. not long distance. i don't think they will allow test drives because it's completely new. the X-ADV 750 looks fun!
As a brand new rider with this as my first bike (have had it for about 1.5 months), it has been a joy to ride! Super fun and absolutely would recommend. Only complaints are that the QR code scanning menu doesn't seem to work, and if you connect it to your cardo and your phone, the connection seems to get a bit spotty at times and audio dies out.
From the Philippines...I just want to say that I LOVEEEEEE how you review bikes!!! Thank you so much! I've watched so many of your videos. Mainly Husqys...and then this one! I am thinking of getting this bike as my first-ever manual motorcycle.
Hey Chase, just picked one up as a Christmas gift to myself LOL. I love this bike plenty of punch when I need it. At 5'-7" this bike fits me well and a comfortable ride. Props to CF Moto for giving the masses an affordable yet fun bike with killer looks!
OC: I'd honestly choose the 450SS. CFMoto absolutely knocked it outta the park with the 450SS. That said a 450 hooligan wheelie machine is so very hard to pass on. IMO you can't really go wrong with either one. The 450SS takes it for me on looks and the fact it has Brembo brakes. Either one is easily one of the best beginner bikes on the market. CFMoto seem to be aiming for Kawasaki and the Ninja 400/500 for the beginner bike throne.
I think this would be my choice over the SS/SR. Has the same underneath for most parts. I'm a bigger fan of Naked regardless so mainly down to preference. The looks side I'm on the other end where I'm not a fan on the SS as its just too much. Would be a great daily bike as a Second for cheap not putting miles on your weekend main bike.
A dealership opened up literally 3 miles away from me, about one month ago. Went to test ride the 450SR and the NK450 (im still on my A2 license for a full year :( sucks) and my god did i have fun riding these bikes. I have a ninja 300 and i swear it feels like a straight up tractor compared to those 2. Cant wait till i get my full license in a year. Edit: full license so i can test the NK800, i could get those 2 but dont feel like selling my 300 to buy a CF just to get rid of it after a year.
i bought a cfmoto 450 NK. i went there to test the 450ss, but it was to sporty for me bec. i have problems with my back. i tested then the NK and it was looking so good and the Sound insane. I had to buy it :)
CFMoto leaks are saying they are developing a 675cc triple making 120~ hp, after riding the 450SR im looking forward to seeing if the rumors are true with the new sports bike
Greetings from the wet & windy U.K. Nice review man & has given me food for thought regarding the up & coming 450 MT. looks like it will crack a ton ok as you weren't killing the NK at 85 on the motorway. I'm in my 60's & I can't deal with the weight of big bikes any more - my biggest currentlyt a TDM 900 at around 450 LBS. Apart from the price of petrol & diesel here we also have rip off road tax - for instance, over 600cc motorcycle is £111 ($139) per year currently. Hopefully you can get your hands on the 450 MT when it arrives & give another excellent review. 👍
Well my local cf moto dealer has the 650nk for $5,499 and it seems like the msrp if the 450nk is $5,399. If the 450nk gets cheaper maybe ill consider it but for now i prefer the 650nk
Love what CF Moto are doing. This bike with a shorty aftermarket can and tail tidy would be the biz. Also love the triangle shape the fender and tank shrouds form from front on.
If I wasn't so bent on picking up this Street Triple 675 in upcoming months, I'd seriously be considering this or the 650, though I prefer the looks of this one
I really want to get a CF moto naked bike. However, there’s not enough accessories to purchase. I would like to be able to get a little wind screen for this bike
Can I ask what is the throttle like down low, as in is it snatchy/jerky, I'm considering buying one for my driving school and need it to be predictable down low,
OC.Great review as always. Have a big bike already, great for Munching miles at speed but Id like a second bike to complement it. Something easy to pull out of the garage and hop on. This looks like it could be a contender.
OC: better late than never 😉 I agree with you on the looks of these CF MOTO bikes. They all look pretty amazing. I know they get a lot of hate for being Chinese butthe price is so competitive. If the reliability ends up being good, itll be a good contender in the years to come

Nice review, just bought this NK450, first time riding clutch driven motorcylce, its kinda worrying because everytime I downshift to 1st gear then blip the throttle( have this behavior of blipping the throttle multiple times while the clutch is engange) my engine sometime dies. Is tihs normal? As per the manufacture its an ECU thing getting confuse. Pls help. thank you
Does sound really good. I wana purchase one of these with the 450 in it love the price also. Those cfmotos have those little details that catch my eye. Really like it
Sir, at ASIA, if you have free time to check on cf moto MT 450 (adventure) and 450 CL-C (Cruiser), if you are interested sir 😁, the MT 450 is like your ibex but mini version😁
I needed to see this one. I'm now torn between it and the MT I think that the wheel size on the MT makes it too much like my Vstrom. The MT could possibly replace the Vstrom if I wanted, but the NK probably wont tour the way I like to.
I have an NK 450 while my dad has an MT 07. Both bikes are great and very similar, but the MT 07 is still a faster bike. The NK is no slouch though: it rips harder then you think! The exhaust sound of the NK is also a bit louder than the MT's. If you like the max amount of power: go for the MT. If you don't need that and want a cheaper bike, go for the NK. it still does 0-60 in less then 5 seconds so there you go. 😂
OC: hey Chase just wondering if you will be doing a first ride on the 800nk I'm really looking forward to hearing your thoughts from Newcastle Australia 🦘🦘
That Unity thing, now that's a cool concept,. The SS is way cool and I really lust it but like I always say naked bikes are my thing so this right here, this NK? Is me it just has my DNA, itt looks kind of like a GS 310 R but kind of prettier I lust that Venom headlight touch . It's just a great bike
I looked up exhausts for this thing and what pops up is WELD ON exhausts. You've got to be kidding. Wake me up when these guys sort out standard design principles from the 1990s.
I test ridden the 450NK last month 2023 new and didnt like it because the weight of the motorcycle was up high and the transmission felt not as smooth as the Japanese motorcycles , so i ended up purchasing a brand new kawasaki Z 400, end happy with the decision i made because of the all around reliability and performance of the Z400.
Z400 performance? Slow, horrible suspension, and who says its more reliable than a CF? Also, it sounds like shit. My daughters bicycle has better forks.
The transmission on the NK smoothes out when you keep on riding it. Finding neutral was a b*tch in the beginning on my NK, but now it's ok. The Z400 still is a good bike though. Enjoy the ride bro!
I'm sure this bike is good, but with Kawasaki introducing z500, which costs almost the same (at least in my region), I'd rather go with Kawasaki than this. No hate, I was seriously considering buying this one. Which one is better, @chaseontwowheels ?
OC. I like both bikes. I myself have a 2021 Honda CB300R as my first bike that I think is good, but I’m itching to upgrade after having it for a couple years. I think the 450 SS is better based off looks.
Love your reviews of bikes, just wish on the highway runs you would vary tour speed some. Not always in the fast lane. Maybe several seconds of how it feels at speed limit and 5pmh over, for those with NON ATLANTA driving habits.....lol
pls i beg of you, review the 800 NK. im wanting to either get a mt07 or the 800 NK (yes it will be my 1st bike, no idc if people think its a bad 1st bike)
Sad thing about all the new 400-500cc motorcycles is how much their performance is limited to follow international licensing restrictions. Perfect example is the new Aprilia RS 450 that down sized from the 660 should have netted us a light weight 65-70hp sport bike instead of the 47hp version we're getting. Maybe to a lesser extent but similar performance increases could be had with the CFMoto 450's and other examples of bikes in this displacement class. Would be nice if the manufacturers offered boostable A2 versions of these bikes (like they do with a lot of the 650-800cc bikes) allowing for much more exciting bikes for those who prefer something lighter than the current 650-800's.
the only thing about this bike not a fan of is the colors. Need better colors like grey or whatver. The duke look almost like this one but have way better colors, makes it look cooler lol. but thats about it.
So jealous of your helmet bro...... Great vidja but the whole time im like FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWk I want that atlas 4.0 commander green to match my scl500 so bad ^.^ out of stock and discontinued....RiP the dream.
OC This is a rad bike. But the 800 NK, the 800nk, well shheee, that comes with modes, and I heard its got No traction control. That's the machine I have been waiting for. That is the jam

CF MOTO is killing it right now! They have a sweet model line of bikes!

How’s the throttle response on the nk? The bike seems surprisingly quick - a twitchy throttle could be a bad thing.

I got mine this Saturday and it’s an amazing bike. You definitely do not expect a 450 to sounds that great and go that fast
bro just said he owns a 450ss now? going from a loaner to buying the bike says so much about a bike
OC :) I have been looking between the two 450s that CF has and honestly the moment you called the NK a mini MT-07 I was sold on it!
Loving the sound of that 450 motor! Hoping to get the 450 MT in the US - Better weather protection, more open ergonomics, and cargo-carrying capacity.
Just get a car and stop bitching
Since Kawi isn't making the 451cc Versys-X I'm seriously considering the 450MT. It seems that is the KTM 490 platform that was scrapped
i'm probably getting the black/silver version of this bike as my first bike. it looks and sounds so good. also very lightweight and it has TC, good for a beginner.

Why would you buy a chinese bike over a japanere one?
what do you think is better for beginner in terms of durability fun and quality cfmoto 450 nk or ktm duke 390?
Can I ask what is the throttle like down low, as in is it snatchy/jerky, I'm considering buying one for my driving school and need it to be predictable down low,
I had the 650nk and loved it. Now I have the Ibex 800T. Really love this bike.
FYI, anonymous source says this thing is designed by an Italian designer; the exhaust sound is also tuned by Italians.

Yea that’s the perfect setup here. At least personally.
When are you doing the 800nk? I cant wait to see how you feel about that one!
Hi did you got a chance to test ride the Triumph Scrambler 400x ? Please waiting for a review for the same
OC...what do you think of the 300 nk as a beginner bike?
I think this is my 4th or 5th time to watch this one. Mostly keeping track for myself. I need one of these!
Im looking forward to the 450MT, same engine.
Bro SAME!
I agree. The 450NK for city work/commute & the 450MT for weekends 👌 Perfect.
OC: better late than never 😉
I agree with you on the looks of these CF MOTO bikes. They all look pretty amazing. I know they get a lot of hate for being Chinese butthe price is so competitive. If the reliability ends up being good, itll be a good contender in the years to come
OC: I pulled the trigger on this in Feb. It's been amazing as a first bike couldn't be happier.
Did you notice any weird vibration/feelings in your feet on the pegs, mainly on decel and engine braking areas? This is my first CFMoto bike and I noticed it immediately. Doesn’t bother me, just wanted to make sure I didn’t get a lemon 😂.
Really like it
Always forget your in the Roswell/alpharetta area until I start recognizing roads
I would love to see you try out this years 300ss and 450ss! I wonder a droping in HP from 29 to 27 is gonna make a difference?
Oc I’ve been thinking about getting this naked bike or the 300 what would you go with I have some exp shifting but not a lot at all
Sir, at ASIA, if you have free time to check on cf moto MT 450 (adventure) and 450 CL-C (Cruiser), if you are interested sir 😁, the MT 450 is like your ibex but mini version😁

Is it any good I'm getting the 650 Saturday
A first ride on a Saturday fancy
How do you feel about the 450nk vs the MT07 I’m looking at both currently
650NK
I have an NK 450 while my dad has an MT 07. Both bikes are great and very similar, but the MT 07 is still a faster bike. The NK is no slouch though: it rips harder then you think! Great video....some owners says tha t the f.consumption is 3.3L/100km.
What was your experience?👍👍
Around 4 - 5 l/100 km on mine. I do like to accelerate so yeah. 😅
OC: hey Chase just wondering if you will be doing a first ride on the 800nk I'm really looking forward to hearing your thoughts from Newcastle Australia 🦘🦘
Damn Chase, you give the best reviews, we love you in P.A. and in Jersey! That bike is SWEET AF...✌️

800NK?
OTD price on these things? Still covid numbers or finally coming down to earth?
The CF MOTO 450MT is on another level
The MT looks good too.
did you put a Yoshimura on it too yet?
How much top speed?
Where is the brembo caliper? 450 sr has it
Is this stuff crossplane?

Not big enough of an upgrade. Get to the 650 class.
Beautifully designed bike. Honda and suzuki should take notes with the hornet 750 and suzukis new 8s

Would be nice if the manufacturers offered boostable A2 versions of these bikes (like they do with a lot of the 650-800cc bikes) allowing for much more exciting bikes for those who prefer something lighter than the current 650-800's.
Cfmoto has race version oem ecus.

Dude ca i get ur helmet link tho
Im 5'5 and i can perfectly touch the ground im really looking forward to get one
This brand has come along way, if they made a 1000 version of this I would highly consider cf moto, not something I would ever say
I’m really excited to get a chance to try out there 800nk. Same engine as my ibex in this platform would be nuts
They have plans for a 1000cc V4 sport bike. We bought the 450ss and love it. Great bikes.
theres an article they gonna make 200+hp v4
@@Junkfiles446 yep. Gonna be sick
@@chaseontwowheels same motor as the ktm 790. Everything I've seen is its a really good bike.
Hey... you didn't do the Purchase or Pass drama! at the end like you promised...😮😂

Oh i that 1st gear push with clutch in is a feature.....i thought it had an issue😅
It’s crazy I’ve never heard of this brand
Im still waiting on 2024 cfmoto 300ss for your review
the only thing about this bike not a fan of is the colors. Need better colors like grey or whatver. The duke look almost like this one but have way better colors, makes it look cooler lol. but thats about it.
This or the Duke since you rode both 2024 models
insane this bike is on my list
This bike is satisfying a great need; middle cc/power plus 2 cylinder
I think the upcoming Mondial 450 is even better, when it comes to looks.
OC 450SS 🎉
Dude this is better than z400
I like the look of naked bikes better but everyone says the extra wind hitting you isn't worth it.
I wonder if a windshield is an option as an add on?
@@markhancock4775 I saw an owner review who added one so their out there. 👍
Awesome bike
I don't dig the placement of the front blinkers
Would it be a good hooligan bike?
So jealous of your helmet bro......

我有一个强烈的预感:中国的摩托车、汽车会在不远的未来主宰全球市场。
