  • Had a blast testing out the Onix Osprey 950 in some gusty 15-35+ knot conditions, with Jeff @pakaafoil on the 1250. For best of breed wing and foil gear and advice with integrity visit: www.PakaaFoilHa....
Paired with the ultralight and stiff NoLimitz mast I think I’ll definitely find some new PB top speeds. Am really looking forward to my handmade 750 and 550 arriving from Tarifa soon!
Riding Onix Osprey 950 foil, 4m PPC M1 wing, and PPC Soar 63L.
The Onix Osprey has been a superb foil with incredible glide, designed AND manufactured with a lot of love in Tarifa, Spain, not some random Asia factory. I also love Onix's huge focus on sustainability and supporting the local community. Onix innovates by hugely reducing the waste in the manufacturing process. Their foil molds only use 3kg of plant based plastic, compared to the traditional factory which uses 100kg of aluminum. Onix also has a great exchange program, where they re-furbish old foils, and get them back out on the water (not the landfill). Sam @Sam_Carentz and the Onix team have been a huge pleasure to work with. Onix truly embodies what every company should that cares about this sport, the ocean, and the future.
The PPC M1 wing has been incredible. I love how stiff the leading edge is compared to every other brand I have tried. There is no deflection whatsoever while pumping. It's also super well balanced as I could hold on with just a pinkie while hooked in. I am looking forward to riding the M1 wing for several seasons, unlike other dacron wings that bag out after 1 season of heavy use.

Can’t wait to receive my Osprey 1250! Hoping to find a foil that excels in the wind bumps.

That one should do it! I’ve been very surprised at how well the 750 and 950 pump, and even can catch up to swell in Hawaii.
