Mathias Schaffhäuser's 10th solo album "Singing About It" will be released in fall 2024, on which the songwriting and singing skills of the Cologne musician and DJ will play the leading role for the first time. The “Fantasy System EP” already hints at where the journey is heading: art pop meets indie dance and the legacy of Schaffhäuser's house and techno signature, with soul and traces of prog rock also peeking around the corner. And all this in combination with lyrics that sometimes poetically, sometimes laconically deal with the world as it is today. And sometimes simply with love - both eternal and fading. The funky, enigmatic “Don't Go Crazy With Your Fantasy” comes in two versions, the original version and a somewhat more compact radio edit, while the striking political stomper “The System, Not The Symptoms” comes as an extended version with club potential for fearless DJs. In October, the album “Singing About It” will be released with ten songs and even more range - then also on vinyl and CD.
Video director, camera and cut: Stephan Meyer - Thank you!!

In 1997 he started his own label WARE which released 95 EPs and more than 20 albums until today.
