I'm so happy that people like her exist. So many times I see vets giving no chances to some pets but people don't give up on them and thanks to them, those pets grow up to be beautiful and healthy animals. They are the exemple we should follow.
Wonder if those vets regret giving such diagnosis upon seeing that...
SAF Such events are rare. It would be terrible to subject people to a hopelessly positive diagnosis when the animal had a high chance of death. If they are wrong, then it is a miracle. No false hopes.
So true, I had a vet tell me to take my kitten, that had just adopted, back to the shelter because she was "too sick" and that I should get my money back. She was tiny for her age, fit in the palm of my hand. We thought she wouldnt make it but she survived well into adulthood.
Its magic, she's a wee survivor. And those people's love and care gave her the boost she needed. Wonderful people 🤗👌👍

I feel as though I am misinterpreting the poem, but animals can most certainly feel sorrow and suffering directly as a result of their circumstances... If a dog is separated from his pack, it feels very much for itself, it might literally give up on life... and they can feel empathy for other dogs in a similar situation... This extends to virtually every species... Humans are not unique in our suffering, despite how much we like to pretend it were the case.
@@William-Morey-Baker I'm not a believer that poems *can* be misinterpreted. Others may see what you do not, but I think the ability to interpret them unique to yourself is part of their power. We aren't unique in suffering, but I don't believe "sorry for one's self" is the same as suffering. It's a particular kind of giving up. One I personally have never seen in an animal.

Reminds me of a kitten I saved some months back. He was extremely underweight. He was the size of a 3 week kitten but judging by his teeth, eyes and such he was way older, maybe 6 weeks old or so. It was really sad. He was doing okay for some time then one day he died on the way to the vet but he came back before we got there. The vet said that sometimes when an animal dies they’ll get a boost of adrenaline to essentially restart their heart. But little man eventually left us. It was his time.

That reminds me of a cat that me and my family found on my on street near our neighbours. They knew about the cat he was very young but they gave him bread... Of course cat didn't eat it and I don't know how long he had to starve but when we gave him some food he started to visit us more and more often so we took care of him. He was living a happy live but somebody in our neighborhood hate cats...

Bless you honey. That little leopard disguised as a tuxedo tabby has heart. Every tabby I have ever owned were always fierce, when it comes to everything they do. A very tough fur baby. They are also fierce when it comes to family ( only they can try to kill, other member's of their family, God forbid someone else tries that). They are also fierce in love.
