That 4th Quarter Was Special 🔥
Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark are definitely going to bring alot of fresh eyes on the WNBA and I wish the absolute best for them. No matter who wins between LSU and Iowa, its a win for basketball tbh.
Crazy I don’t see either in mock drafts so I guess they both coming back but idk. It kinda makes sense tho because women’s college basketball gets more attention than the WNBA and they can make money with NIL deals I guess

Folks say that with every rookie class there is plenty of current players that can do the same thing the problem with the wnba is it is mismanaged they spent too many years promoting and marketing old players like Bird and turasi and Candace Parker who can barely get up and down the court .now watch and see u know what the top story in the wnba is gonna be? The return of Griner instead of promoting the young talent

Virgina Tech had a good 3rd quarter but mannn, that 4th quarter, Kim Mulkey and that defense had them shook
Virginia Tech had no one who could set the table. They can shoot but they should work on diversifying their schemes a little

Not going to lie, that was one of the most competitive women’s college Games I ever seen. Big win for LSU who fought back because I thought they were toast beginning of second half.! One of the reasons I love sports. Congrats tigers 🐅..!
Flau'jae made the 2 biggest plays of the game; 1) the steal on the other end finishing with a coast to coast layup **to put LSU in the lead; 2) that rebound. THAT rebound. Look how high she jumped to get it (was in the worst position of all the players under the basket) and then she finishes. Without those 2 plays the momentum of the game would not have shifted so drastically. Flau'jae grew up this game. And when the final whistle sounds, who does Angel Reese go embrace? Flau'jae Johnson 💜💜

Great game. Williams and Morris refuse to lose all them steals. And the rebounds in inside. Ridiculous. That was the deal breaker.. Vt was shooting lights out .. insane some of them 3s.. that's was a great game..

The Hokies couldn't handle LSU's athleticism and quickness. In the end, they got out hustled at both ends of the floor. Congrats to LSU for a great win!
so proud 9 new player and in her 2nd year coaching Kim mulkey has taken lsu to the national championship simpl incredible and she has the number 1 recruiting class next year so get used to lsu being competitive for the unforseen future just think 9 wins before Kim mulkey fantastic coach
I don't buy it. It will be one last go for Caitlin Clark, Paige Bueckers, Aaliyah Boston, and Hailey Van Lith, all from one crazy tough recruiting class, to get one last shot. I was hoping to see all four of them in the Final Four next season if not this season, but Paige will be back for one last go next year. So we will see what Kim Mulkey and these L LSU's can do. Not hating, just hate them. Straight up would have to root for Iowa in this next one.

I didn't expect vs tech to get as far as they did. Happy to see LSU win the championship and how they did it. Reese will be fun to watch in the wnba. Glad she did what she did in the championship game.
