My parents always do (because yes as adults we still get stockings) ornaments, socks, candy/snacks, and something fun. My grandma used to do a "just because box" and put socks, hair brush, hair ties, stuff that isn't necessarily fun but needed

Stockings: candy, snacks, cheap (sterling silver vs gold) jewelry, toiletries, lippies, nail polish and scratch tickets (no kids here) and if there's no chocolate orange Christmas didn't happen!

We do chocolate oranges every year too! Stockings are always small gifts, socks, snacks, skincare!

My mom always made sure we got batteries and a new tree ornament in our stockings along with assorted yummy treats :)

We always do a bag of gold chocolate coins, always a chocolate Santa, almost always a $5 Starbucks gift card, my sister always puts a sheet face mask in for the girls and maybe a lotion. Stockings are like my fav part of Christmas!

I’m 33 and my mom still does stockings for our whole family- and now our kiddos too! She normally puts a magazine plus some of these items- body wash, shampoo, conditioner, pack of gum toothbrush, hairbrush, toothpaste, chapstick, hair ties.
