assalam alikum brothers and sisters in islam I was born I became a roman catholic from my parents. I grew and I found myself at odds with my religion. I asked questions but nobody knew the answers. I was lost for a long time then many years later Islam came into my life and as time passes by. It is made simple but we do not understand and step by step the book is open to us alhamdu lillah i get to understand more and more. I listen to Tariq Ramandan and what he sayes makes sense. In this world of ours today with so many pressures, so much stress from this life we have to use our interlect. our human qualities to understand what do we do next. RIS has so many important people and the atmosphere for the young people is incredible. I managed to go one year.alhamduallah Alhamduallah we have to face today because of what is coming tommorow and if we have no vision, what will happen. we have to be all the things that Tariq Ramandan explains. masha allah PEACE to everybody
i mean this man is soo real its unbelievable , he talks to you on a level that speaks right to your heart. A great man truly . The topics that he mentions may not have been clearly defined and explained but the fact that he asks us to be real and put into action what we say about our religion is just delight to listen to. Thank you for uploading, made my day :)
The point: Don't be obsessed with the rules, even though the rules are necessary. It might be that by going to the ends you will come back to the rules. Our obsession with the rules is pushing us to miss the ends.
Hi there, although i like Mr. Ramadan, but i wonder why RIS doesn't think to invite the more provocative, authentic and really amazing scholars like Abdullahi Ahmed An-Naim, Khaled Abul Fadl, Farid Essack. I see Hamza Yousef every year and same folks. Think harder and think about other voices.
