Finally! Someone that doesnt just compare Jiyan to Xiao or Dan Heng. He's more Cu Chulain than anything.
You'd be wrong about the hype though, its consistently the top of most anticipated games on bilibili and the western gacha audience. Only overshadowed by Hoyoverse. For a small studio like Kuro that's an achievement being on the same stage with the big boys of the industry.

Wuthering waves has actually a lot of hype for the game and it most anticipated non hoyo game and can confirm according to numbers as well with 16m pre reg, gacha today don’t have that especially the other gacha open world games and on UA-cam with 6.1 million views on a launch trailer is insane and there socials even have more than 40k+ likes and more than 10 million views + views on there cinematic video has 2.2m views this game has most hype for a gacha open world game than any other gacha right now beside hoyo games

I used to like Genshin but #1 I got tired & #2 the community is too toxic. Like, I respected their LBGTQ ships but just bc they liked that didn’t mean I was gonna accept those ships for myself & they were so toxic that they were literally hating on me for preferring straight ships💀 #3 the combat system is too boring & quests were unskipable #4 most characters looked like children & I’m not a pedo. I needed some hot tall men & Wuwa has what I want so yayyy

As someone who has played Kuro Game's previous title: Punishing Gray Raven, the combat is very satisfying. There's a great deal of options in Wuthering Waves that offers so much to gameplay, even more so then their previous game:
- Double Jumping
- Wall Running both along and up walls
- A grapple hook for traversal and a single use jump
- Perfect dodging gives i-frames
- There's a parry mechanic
- Every character has a Skill and Ultimate ability
- You can combo basic, heavy and plunge attacks
- Enemies you slay in game have a chance to drop an 'Echo' an equippable piece of gear that boosts stats and gives a unique skill on use

Yeah, Jiyan definitely looks similar to Co Chulain, only their color theme is different, they both use spears. Both has the same hair style. Their faces is kinda similar. Both has the same body type. Only their clothes is different
