Omg, i performed sleeping beauty too! I was music fairy and white cat in Puss in Boots!! (btw, for baby aurora they literally used a real baby, she was the daughter of one of the dancers 💀)
My tap teacher’s mother owned a dance studio and they did a Sleeping Beauty performance! My tap teacher was four weeks old and they used her as baby Aurora, which I think is crazy because of the lights and sounds.
When I was like 3 I would run around in a tutu and act like I was a ballerina, I grew out of it but I remember when I was like 8 I went on a field trip to see The Nutcracker and it was so beautiful, overall ballet is such a beautiful form of dance and I have so much respect for people that choose to learn it and perfect it, I think the biggest thing that had made me shy away from ever wanting to even attempt to learn actual ballet (besides me being fat lmao) was just hearing how damaged a lot of the dancers feet can become
As a dancer, I hope to as good as you one day! Also where we watch the dancers on stage is terrible the quality is really bad so we have to livestream it in the dressing rooms. I’m doing comp this year and I’m so excited and nervous, and in a two weeks I will find out what group I’m in.
As a younger dancer, you are such an inspiration!! I also love watching your videos.💕
