I believe it was originally due to open in March . Last i read its been delayed til June. Once that opens the Cleopatra next door closes for refurb.

Im a builder and the last 20 percent of any build, goes from building site to completion very quickly .. ill go for a june or july opening. Im booked for Aug 🍻👍🏽

Stayed in the Med Palace a few times, a few years back, part of the Mare Nostrum resort with the Anthony and the Cleopatra. Sea view, or pool view side is actually much nicer in my opinion. Golden mile side had a lot of traffic noise. I actually liked the Blue, this looks pretty drab now. Hotel was very dated and needed a refurb. I will miss the 5-Aside pitch where they are building that children’s play area now :( Also, not in any hurry to return if the Cleopatra next door is to be the next building site!
