Wow, DJI's lidar autofocus system has come a long way. When it first came out, it could only focus on whatever's in the centre of the frame, but my mind was already blown by the tech at the time.
Very much interested in the basic DJI focus setup shown by their sales/demo person. What type/make of cage is he using? Can you do a similar more in-depth review of the setup he demo's with the ZVe1? v I think this setup might have great potential for use with manual vintage glass O.95-1.4 aperture keeping things relatively in focus in daylight and night shooting. Thanks.1
dunno -not too impressed yet. Not for 2024. How about some VR headset integration? How about some AI based autofocus, where you can enter text into a phone or VR app, and have that text run through a NN like grounding dino, unet, or similar to get the coordinates of the thing you want to focus on which might even be a smaller object in the scene - hard to tap on, but easy for AI to find, then send those coordinates just like a tap would. Camera will take over focus from there. How about a VR headset mounted camera (above) - so you just look at your subject and control via your VR headset joystick controls, or virtual controls. they're leaving a lot to be desired considering all the tech out there. How about some fun filters.
