- Welcome to Willamette, Colorado! This is the place where Dead Rising takes place and where Frank West has to get some of the most infamous achievements in Video Gaming History! I'm talking about 7 Day Survivor, Transmissionary, and Zombie Genocider.. but it doesn't stop there because we are getting ALL Achievements in this video.

I love dead rising. I 100% dead rising on ps4, pc and Xbox One back to back. I’m hoping they have the same achievements in the remaster so I can knock it out all over again.

@Yoma97 thanks oh and before you started playing dead rising 2, you have to play first dead rising 2 case 0, which is a prologue to dead rising 2 and then after dead rising 2 play dead rising 2 case west

Fun fact, there is no chocolate milk in dead rising. It's a gallon of coffee creamer 😂
The thing that always bugged me is they typically don't sell coffee creamer in big jugs like that. And if you zoom in on the label in the grocery store it says Chocolate Milk
The remaster better not nerf the mannequin torso. For those unaware it's the strongest weapon in the game

2nd strongest but it can be considered a weaker version of the small chainsaw which is still really good
@@mediawatcher9225In terms of raw damage the second strongest weapon in the game (not counting the unlockable weapons) is actually the Small Chainsaws, they get beat out by the 3 different types of shelves. In terms of raw damage from a one handed weapon though the Small Chainsaws are the strongest weapon and the mannequin torso is tied for second with the Meat Clever and King Salmon (the Meat Clever has the highest durability of them but it’s still very low).
There are a couple weapons that are theoretically stronger but they’re very impractical, Sledge Hammers and Fire Axes have a 1.5x headshot damage multiplier that makes them a little stronger, and the Hedge Trimmer’s secondary attack does the same damage as a headshot from a Sledge Hammer, but it’s very bad, the Hedge Trimmers are a meme weapon, don’t use them (you can triple book them like the Small Chainsaws though).
The pain I experienced on my first playthrough when I saved 49 survivors and couldn’t reload an old save file to get 50 survivors for the Saint achievement.
And the 2-3 fail runs for 7 day survivor.
Still…. I don’t think it was as bad as unlocking all multiplayer trophies in Dead Rising 4 which you should totally do.

if you save 49 then go into overtime mode, isabella counts as the 50th after completing it

It's far from perfect but DR1 is one of my all time favourite games. Looking forward to the remaster

As a kid I thought I had no time to do the 7 day survivor achievement
But as an adult I didn't expect how much free time I had as a kid
(Did it one summer during my 8th grade summer vacation)
I saw some UA-camr play this back in 2019. It got me intrigued to play this game, but I couldn't afford to get it.
Earlier this year I got a job. And this is one of the games I bought. Man, this game is pretty fun.

5:52 Correction: in the 360 version you can only save in one slot not three. The only way you can get a different save slot is to save in a different storage medium (USB stick for example). Not a huge deal but for any purists that plan to play 360 version... yeah just plug a few USBs into your console so you can save into different slots

Annoys me how people refuse to use the restart function in DR games.
If you skip the cutscenes you can go from the opening to where you had saved in a few minutes, just with all your accumulated PP making you way more powerful (probably could've been a lvl 7 or more when you faced off against Carlito that 3rd time).

What’s up, I discovered this video because it popped up, and It’s amazing, Dead Rising is an outstanding game the storyline is great, And everything else about it is as well, Now that it’s getting remastered it definitely will have improvements and it’s be a redemption against Dead Rising 4, But yeah besides that great content man I watched some of your other videos and I just want to say keep up the grind and the edits are very nice, Much Love ❤

Something interesting I have just picked up on after having this video recommended to me for the past day is the thumbnail change. Dead rising is a pretty loyal and tight community of a long dead franchise and so the only people searching and getting recommended content are people who are die hard fans of the games themselves and so I've always thought im sure dead rising videos do better in the algorithm when the thumbnails consist of the game and characters from the game rather than the content creator. Obviously this possibly true or false phenomenon may change with the announcement of the new entry but its just interesting thinking about the youtube meta and the thumbnail change of this video.
You're kinda on the ball with this one! I've been doing A/B thumbnail testing with my face and just characters and at the start, my face was winning. But as time went on, the clown and frank started pulling ahead and then just kept winning. So, I think Adam the clown might be doing me more justice than I thought
I remember seeing this game on the shelves at gamestop back in the day but i was like 6 or 7 years old at the time so all i was concerned about was playing cod at the time lol. Good times!

Great video. I'm excited for the new Remaster ! This is my favorite game of all time and I have 100% in it on every console platform and I own the Ps4 Japanese copy imported from Japan.
This achievement in deluxe remaster is probably so much less tedious since you can fast forward time in that one.
this is like 2 months old now and people have probably said it, but you can indeed get saint while doing overtime, in fact you have to get a certain amount of survivors to get transmissionary, i have done it on both 360 and pc because the end of overtime does have a survivor list it keeps track of but doesn't show the player and when overtime is finished it counts Isabela and frank as the last 2 survivors for the achievement. I don't know where the misconception of you have to get the other endings instead of overtime for saint came from but it is wrong, it is a faster way if you already did overtime though. Anyways i just wanted to clear this up for people attempting to do an all achievements run for dead rising and to make it less time consuming.

Anyone doing this on the PS5 be aware there’s a chance for crashes more than playing on the PS4 I’ve done 7DS twice on the P4 with no crashes so far P5 has had like 4 crashes around the 2 day mark
To be honest I had no problem getting survivors to the safe house. I meaaaaan once you get the chainsaw from Adam then it’s much easier 😂

Update: I got grabbed and failed the qte and died.

I am planning to do casual streams for hunting achievements on X360 games , I prefer YT but I've seen that you didn't stream much on YT and most of the streams are on Twitch , if you can tell me why Twitch is your choice I'd appreciate that, you don't have to answer though, answer if you're ok with it
@@AliChitax So youtubes live streaming platform is so so so behind on twitch when it comes to chatting, moderating, and a lot of that stuff so I've avoided it since then
@@Yoma97 thanks for the reply , I think UA-cam lacks many features for livestreaming but also doesn't even seem to improve them in the past 2-3 years on the platform if I'm not wrong, I mostly tried their new vertical streaming which gives like 10x the impressions and alot of new viewers will come across the stream but as for horizontal streams , there's not much YT has against Twitch

I never understood how creating zombies had anything to do with meat production. Could anyone elaborate?
They were using the queens (the bees you can find in all games to kill a large group of zombies) to speed up the meat production (by making them fattier, as far as I remember) but then one escaped and the queens went to spread on a village, but in humans seemed to turn them into zombies and well, here we are...

The 7 day survivor is a 2-man shift, fortunately I had my sister to keep a eye on my health while I took some spare time to move around make myself somthing to eat and drink.
My god it's gruelling, WORSE then the Hardcore challenge in Dead Space 2.
This doesn’t help now but you actually can get Ending A AND the Saint achievement in a single playthrough. It’s very difficult but possible. You won’t get full credit for it until completing overtime mode since Frank and Isabella count as the last 2 survivors you need.
Funny but dumb technicality but Saint is much easier with Ending B since you can have Brad and Jessie count towards the total as well.
Thank God the Quick Resume feature saves the game in place.

There will never be a more deflating moment than when DR1 crashed 10 hours into the 7 day survivor run and I had to come back the next day only to die 3 hours in to Sniper Carlito THEN play for the next 14 hours until 2 in the morning to finally getting the trophy. God please don't bring that back in the Deluxe remaster, Capcom we beg of you!!!

Protip! You can get "PP collector" and "Unbreakable" much easier.. you have to get captured by the Cultists on the main story run to get "PP Collector"... but you can do overtime mode twice to get "Unbreakable".

I don't know why people don't know that if you rescue all survivors and get the A ending and go straight to the overtime mode, at the end Isabella and Frank count as survivors (50 in total), so it is possible to get saint achievement and also the true ending in the same run.
I got it in the steam version, I don't know if it works in the original 360 version or in the remaster version for consoles.
To so losely throw around a jam like dimitrys club music and not have a sly cooper trophy video should be a crime!! But for real please sir make the video it will be so worth it!

Ever since the remake was announced I've been reliving my memories both good and bad of this game changer for zombie games. I'm glad Frank is making a comeback but let's just hope it can actually cause a full return unlike what happened with the Dead Space Remake.

You can get the saint achievement and ending s in the same run the game will count Frank and Isabella as saved once you defeat Brock giving you the achievement shortly after overtime ends
It’s arguably the best way in my opinion, it knocks off two achievements and still gives you 1-2 survivors of leniency to still obtain saint.
The remake will give us the ability to fast forward time, here's hoping we can do this in that game's infinity mode.
Why that would be terrible
The 7 Day Survivor achievement was also infamous because the original 360 version of the game had a memory leak problem that nobody during development noticed because the main game only lasts 3-4 days (6-8 hours irl). But from the 5th day onward on the mall, the game will give you an infinite loading screen if you tried to enter certain areas of the game. This happened to me almost at the end of the 6th day on the 360 version. And then I lost my save file because the Xbox didn't have save clouds so I just never attempted it again until it came out on PC lol.

Might be boring but honestly going for the 53k zombie kill achievement and getting the Mega Buster makes everything so much easier lol

I don't know tbh because you need more health bars and you'll be constantly eating with lower bars
It would be near impossible, to put it nicely.
But can try other challenges during 7 day survivor, instead of low level.
Id say around 99 percent are using Real Mega Buster. I did not. Saved the 53.497 killed achievement for last.
Still, the Small Chainsaw carries you through most of the challenge.
