As mentioned dresser mirrors are way heavier than regular wall mirrors. Have one w/ beveled glass so if I remove heavy [dated] frame, I’d need to frame it in a way not to obscure the gorgeous beveled mirror at edge. Thanks for vid. Will look into how to the beveled mirror once out of the frame. Now, need to decide if using your tip of clay OR bendable wood. Your projects were great and your vid was very instructional and helpful. [The mid-century piece with the sark teal/ green was super cool]
I really like what you did with the mirrors. You got them out of the landfill and put them in somebody's home. I have had the same problem with dresser mirrors. One of the problems is that the mirrors weigh a lot more than a normal wall mirror. However, I have had some luck repurposing with a transfer or a decal in one of the corners. That will give it some type of personality. Thank you for your channel.
I loved all your mirror makeovers! I too have a huge stash of mirrors and would love to try some of these ideas out. I have one where design is chipping on one side.. I’m thinking of using some air dry clay as a mold on the non chipped side and see if I can “ mirror” the image onto the chipped side. Your video inspired me so much!! And I absolutely loved the black mirror at the end. I’m interested to see which mirror does best. I think you should’ve put much higher asking price on that one with the floral molds on it. You are very talented and creative. I would’ve loved to see that one you mentioned, with a decopodge center
Happy Saturday, Sarah! I have a thing for mirrors. I love them and I love painting them. It’s good you are a long distance from me because if I had seen a post for your mirrors, I would have bought them all! The more ornate they are, the more I like them! I really like the dark teal/black one! I would have “boho”ed it with layers of bright colors and sanded it back and then waxed it and gilded it. I like to turn them into statement pieces and I also like to decorate the mirror itself with etching or stencils or decoupage. I add all kinds of things to them to make them more than just mirrors. I have added a shelf to the bottom of some to be used as a bathroom mirror over the sink. I even made one a frame for a framed piece of art! I have no idea why they appeal to me so much but I loved watching you play with them and get creative and practice your techniques. My least favorite was that wicker mirror. I loved all the others!🌸
I'm really surprised the wicker mirror didn't go with it's dresser! I would have bought both. I like the little wicker mirror. It would look good in my home in the living room or hallway. The dark blueberry one would be my least favorite. I love how you restored it and uplifted it but it is a piece that really needs the original dresser. Now about the glass on the mirrors. If the glass is heavy then check to see if the back has the antiqued reflection and what the content is. If it's mercury and tin, then the mirror has value. We have a old Hall tree. I was told it was strapped into a covered wagon and went from the East coast to Arkansas and then later to So. Cal. We have it in our closet. It hasn't been put into it since our children were babies because we didn't want it broken!
It's such a shame that people don't take the mirrors with the dressers as some mirrors don't look great on their own but when put with the piece they belong to, they fit right in. I love the curvy white one with the gold.
Because there were so many of them and time to get them finished for video editing was short I’m sure there were a couple spots missed! I generally go over pieces carefully when I photograph them for my listing and fix any problems before selling!
I loved the black one
I’m glad people like different things! It makes the world more colorful 💚
I like the black one best. My least favorite was the two tone white. I feel like that plain part needs something... a decal or wood applique.

Yes, especially that white mirror- it was super heavy!!

Love the mirrors. Great job!
Thank you
Really loved the finish on the octagon mirror. The color and texture worked for me.
I think I like the prototype wicker mirror that you used as a trial for your pretty dresser makeover best.
It definitely saved me some trouble for tackling the dresser!
I like the wicker, the teal black is nice. " Eye of the beholder"😉
Love all the different styles. Wonderful job
Thank you
Mirrors are great for small spaces
Yes they are ♥️ thanks for watching!

What good ideas!
I love the ideas in this video! Can’t wait to try some out!
Is it possible to get rid of the actual mirrors from the larger mirrors and turning the left over wood into fireplace surrounds?
I don’t know that they are quite big enough but it’s an interesting thought!

The wicker mirror I found at a garage sale- it never went with the dresser and was much to small to pair with it!
Have seen them as bulletin board or chalk boar
I wasn’t sure if that was still “in” or not but it couldn’t hurt to try it!
My favourite is the dark teal/black one! 😂 I'm not so much a fan of the one with the molds. Oh, I need to follow you on Instagram!
I love that everyone likes different things 😛 it makes life interesting!

That’s my favorite too- but it is SO heavy!
@@OurFurnitureFlippingAdventure Same could be said about me - curvy but sooo heavy!!😆
I saw some places on the mirror that didn't have paint on it a little sloppy!
