I really enjoyed Edge’s last WWE run. I do wish he had at least one title reign before he left and jumped ship to AEW, but it was still incredibly enjoyable. His promos were great, and he still had it in the ring as well. His trilogy with Seth Rollins was fantastic. I marked out when he first brought back The Brood entrance at SummerSlam.
The only reason that Judgement Day feud went on so long was because Edge was a part timer. If he didn’t come around every big PLE I think that story would’ve ended much sooner.

Edge is my fave of all-time, him coming back after forcefully being retired is one of the all-time "never say never" moments and if you followed Edge after 2011 and saw his progression to make it back and the amount of work he did to build up the strength in his neck again after his fusion surgery, just so he could even have a CHANCE to wrestle again. I am happy he in the champ of ROH season 4. Yeah I agree that his matches could have benefitted from some shorter runtimes, but at least Edge has had a much better comeback than say Kurt Angle did or CM Punk in AEW did. I'm just going to enjoy what little time I have left with Edge in a wrestling ring, cuz we were robbed of it for 9 years.

Originally, Edge's first feud back was supposed to be AJ. Aj broke his arm (or something along the lines) after the spear in the rumble, hence why the elimination quickly.

But I’ve been enjoying his little run of giving younger guys an opportunity to wrestle him and put on decent matches. He also sounds very elated with where he’s at and you could genuinely tell he was happy fighting Suzuki. I think he’s happy that he isn’t part of a programmed machine at this point in his career.

Aside from the 2020 Royal Rumble, the beginning of Edge's return definitely suffered from the lack of fans due to the pandemic.
