I was lucky enough to see Ayrton Senna at Brands Hatch for his debut season. I saw him waiting to leave the paddock for practicing, in his black and gold JPS Lotus, and waved.....he waved back. I was 10 but I'll never forget it 😊🙏♥️
Awesome special memory man.
What a beautiful memory you will treasure. My heart breaks for Ayrton to this day 😢

A TRUE LEGEND! 🙏
Losing Senna and Earnhardt was an absolute tragedy for auto racing. They were bigger than life in their respective countries. It devastated a lot of people.
He was the greatest sportsman of all time - perfection and sheer wizardy - the absolute MASTER of them all.
I would say he is Michael Jordan of racing...
@@Mr.Cerera69 Senna is WAY above Jordan.
@@emelle1283 both are greatest ever done these two sports.
@@Mr.Cerera69 So? b-ball is a childish ballgame while F1 was in those days the most hardcore extreme sport the world has ever seen - on a par with fighter piloting. Comparing the mighty Senna to Jordan you migt as well compare him to the Tiddlywinks GOAT - an insult to F1 to even mention in the same sentence as b-ball.

I was 9 year old and i remember this weekend very well. Such bad weekend, first Roland died and then the most greatest driver forever. Senna has austria flag in his car, what he will going to use when he win to respect Roland. That never happened, but he done and died doing what he really loves to do. Senna❤
Senna and Rindt, those two were magical.
Forever and Ever, The Best,The One Ayrton!!!!!!!!!
Saudades…..
Yes! 👑
Ő volt a legjobb, Isten nyugosztalja! 😢😢😢💔💔💔
He was the epitome of greatness...
A humanitarian.
Care for family and workers, organics, health a fitness, his wealth and privilege shared to his Foundation, the hopes of Brazilians every time he raced
His quiet determination and strength in standing up for safety, formulating a drivers safety team...
Unafraid to speak his mind in meetings, with dignity...
always with driver and team safety in mind
His staid faith, and love of his family and friends...
which is why he was so self assured yet approachable...
His Foundation continues...
his LEGEND AS THE GREATEST F1 OF ALL TIME,
BECAUSE OF HIS CHARISMA....
I toddled off to Imola,to Tamborella Corner, to visit his accident site, on May 1st...
fresh flowers and candles burning...
in his memory
RIP AYRTON...
30 YEARS TODAY...
🙏
Care for workers. You know he yelled at mechanics and even accused them of sabotaging him so that Prost wins.

Me lembro daquele dia.
A 30 anos a fórmula 1 , perdeu a essência e paixão...🎉
My idol, my hero. RIEP Champ 🏆 😢
Nobody is immortal and unfortunaly Ayrton that day, was unconscious about it. The death..,, him had the austrian flag on board, so was convinced, to succeeded to conquest the podium, but as winner, not in second place. His determination and faith in a supreme justice was betrayed and this, it's the dark side of the life. Senna still had an intere life in front, but may be was born for become a legend, and this fact required frequently the maximum price to pay, the life..
Rest in peace legend..
Ayrton Senna -king of kings
Senna tenia una presencia no humana , era una presencia Angelical . Enviado de los cielos

As a Brazilian, I'm saddened that his legacy is constantly ignored by part of our population and most of our politicians who rather leave the country to poverty while enriching the few, then assume steps to rise and prosper as a nation.
I was watching the NASCAR race at Talladega that day & they made the announcement during the broadcast that he had passed. I didn't realize the gravity of it until after the race was over and I saw it again on CNN & Sportscenter. I was not a huge fan of Formula 1 racing but I knew of & very much respected Senna...
He's not fallen, he's forward!
Ayrton Senna was above all else a mystic. An entity who claimed to attain, or believed in the possibility of attaining, insight into mysteries transcending ordinary human knowledge, as by direct communication with the divine or immediate intuition in a state of spiritual ecstasy.
Grande Brasileiro.
Grande Profissional.
Grande Senna grande pilota grande uomo

Che bello il video 👏👍 onore ad Ayrton
Sennas head had flopped down before he left the track, I don't believe he was trying ti do anything to stop the car,
There's an error in 16:17. Senna was disqualified not because he was deemed responsible for the accident, the official reason was because the marshals have helped him start the car and he have taken the shortcut passing by the barriers, this was the official reason. In that time the takeover rules were not so strict as today, and even to this day there's controversy about who was really responsible for the touch, if it was Senna by pushing the takeover or if it was Proust that blocked him intentionally to end the race and win the title.
Wow pretty powerful video r.i.p.champ ❤
Please change this "documentary's title! You do the man a great disservice by titling this Doc as the "fall of". His story deserves so much better than that.

I've seen alot of documentaries about Senna and i have to say this is one of the best ones I've ever seen. Me being American i felt the same way when Dale Earnhardt died in Daytona it didn't seem real you should do a documentary about him
My heart is still breaking he was the most exciting formula 1 driver to exist.😢😢😢
As a Brazilian, I was 16 years old watching the tragic accident on TV with my family. It has been 30 years since Senna passed away. I watched every single race of his F1 career. Senna was more than just a driver.
Me 17
I was 15 at that time . Part of me died that day. I can’t comprehend how you must felt it as Brazilian 💔 Living legend stays in our hearts for ever. Greetings from Poland.
I was 9, living in the UK, at church when one of the elders announced the sad news to the congregation. A loss for everyone.
I was 14 , greetings from Berlin with ❤
He was the magical. The one and only.

This is an excellent documentary
The most influencing racing driver to grace the earth.

The GOAT simple😊
He was one of a kind in his own breed.
Since Senna has died, and subsequent team domination surfaced at Red Bull with 4 titles in a row for Vettel and now Verstappen with consecutive titles, 19 wins in 22 races, Schumacher with 7 titles, 5 in a row with Ferrari, Lewis with 7 titles, 6 or them in 7 years, wins stacked far exceeding Sena’s 41, with over a 100, beating Schumachers 91 record, Vettel with 51 F1 wins, Verstappen at 58 at the moment, great drivers like Senna raced with more parity in drivers and machinery, fewer races per season, 16 then., versus 24 in 2024, while many fewer races when Jim Clark, Jackie Stewart and only 8 races in a season when Fangio dominated, there really is a line to be drawn of 2 maybe 3 eras to gauge drivers like Prost who won 51 races and 4 titles, to make reasonable comparisons of F1 era should at least be seen from before Senna, and after Sena’s death. After he died Schumacher literally had nobody to race against until Williams 1996 and 1997. Safety changed then too, then reliability the past 20 years have too, which in itself cost Raikkonen one F1 title. Before Senna and After Senna are very distinct times, eras, in F1 to make any reasonable comparison with statistics as a reference. Many remember the way Senna drove which make many say he was the greatest.
The word is influential not influencing.
Such a beautiful man and such a beautiful person. He was always been one of my favourite sportsmen and people in the world.

REST IN PEACE LEGEND 😢😢😢
Never have I ever felt anything close to what I felt while watching Senna behind the wheel. No other racer has produced that effect on me. You knew immediately that you were witnessing someone very special: the passion, the despair, the intensity, the commitment and dedication. He was always on the limit and... Beyond. It was as if watching something akin to a religious ritual because Senna was a fanatic (in the best sense of the word) when it came to racing F1. He was ready to give his 110%. After his death I stopped watching F1. Later there were very talented, accomplished racers but they weren't Senna. The magic has died on that day in Imola, some 30 years ago. Rest in peace, Ayrton Senna, the Brazilian Wizard.
This is deep. Says so much of the commitment Senna had to his craft.
Yes, me too.
Loved him and Senna was solely responsible for my interest and love of F1. I was in school when first Indian TVs started broadcasting F1 on sports channels.
But after him, I lost the love for it and stopped watching.
Senna is the true champion in 1989, SENNA 4 world championship titles!!!!
Same. I was 15 years old then. The brave, unfortunately, remain young forever. But this way their name will remain forever, it will not die with them.
In 1994 I was a 19-year-old boy glued to the TV on a first damn Sunday in May 1994. Indelible memories of a day completely sad because of the death not of a man but of a wish that all of us never fulfilled. For you Ayrton...
Unique, not only that. The best ever!
Oh oui
Ayrton Senna was one of those very special sports legends that may be gone in an instant but is never, ever forgotten. Rest in peace dear Senna. 🙏
The first time I heard it was when Montoya said that he was his idol, after seeing his progress in the movies he became one of my favorite athletes of all time.
Best ever no doubt love you forever.
Beautiful little details are in this documentary.✨️✨️✨️

True legend naver dia
I remember that sunday, i just came in, turned on the teli, saw the helicopter on the track, and listened to the grim commentary from legendary commentator Murry walker, it was a shattering blow , from what had been an awful weekend with the earlier death of ratzenberger , i dont think the sport has ever recovered from it. I dont think it ever can.☹😥😔
May God rest and peace your soul Amen
The irony that Shumacher would almost face the same fate later on in life but under different circumstances
Shumacher survived his accident and apparently is finely out of coma. How I wish Senna had walked out of his car 😔
How is it ironic?
I remember exactly where I was that morning, Ayrton Senna was at the forth race of the season in the Williams car and had not won a race e yet, so he put himself under a great deal of pressure, as for many years I video recorded every F1 since 1987, I had woken up to watch the race on tape as they are televised at 4am-6am PST, I started the race on within a few laps later I was shocked and devastated at what I saw, Senna was the reason why I became a fan early on in his career driving the JPS, Senna was distraught about Roland Ratzenburger’s death during practice, and was clearly upset, and that added to the pressure of trying to win as to dedicate the win had he finished the race to Roland and his team. I still have that VHS tape in storage and have no intention of watching it, but I have it for nostalgia and maybe someday I will
Pra sempre Senna, thank you. 1 de mayo 2024 ..30 años.
I remember excatly where I was, what I was doing, how the weather was etc when I heard Senna had died... He was my first F1-idol....

I was a teen watching F1 in the U.S. through ESPN at that time, and I was a little too young to know how much of an impact Senna had. I do remember that horrific crash. Nice timing to show this documentary ahead of the 2024 F1 race at Imola over 30 years after Senna's passing.
