    I'm mukongo woman from DR Congo and Angola and very happy to learn that African Americans begin to have an interest about our endogenous religion.

      You can be from outer space it doesn’t matter you saying why it has to stay in secret that’s why enslavement occurred from several places from west africa and Africa never fought to bring the children of there ancestors back or help us fight in America and gave there resources to there oppressors and let them use everything against us this is how Egypt was overthrown by Europe as well telling the other people your power that’s why.All that Christianity and Muslim religions is Masonic in origin and was created as spells placed over our people

    Thank you I was wondering why my ancestors had me learning about the Orishas again when I knew deep down in my soul Ifa was not for me and trying to find my deep roots in my Kikongo ancestors..they put you in my path. I feel like a strange spiritualist because i feel deep in my soul that I'm connected to more than one avenue in the spiritual realm...and I have to learn from different branches to help me fulfill my destiny.

      I agree with you. But we have been here us living this life for a small window of time. And there are some who need this knowledge. We can't continue to hide it because of the others. Yes some things should be private. Our Ancestors have been watching & governing over these Spiritual Systems for Centuries. They will continue to survive as they have, because of the wisdom & guidance our people have received. Peace & Love 💕

      Why it have to be a secret ? I'm a mukongo woman and I totally disagree with you. We don't have to hide our religion, what we believe. Christians, Muslims, Jewish people and others religions don't hide themselves, I don't know why believers of African religions have to do it.

      @@almeidasamo8765 maybe in your make believe world. Christianity is a religion originating in a Roman province among the Jews in the 8th century of the Roman calendar. It has absolutely nothing to do with Kongo or Africa in general. Their god is not an African god, their beliefs are not African and their savior was a Jew who believed he was a god in human flesh.

      @@ia8018 That the hidden truth the world don’t know. In the Kongo tradition Jesus was known as MPUNGU DESO the Son of NZAMBI A MPUNGU who died in the cross named DIKENGA in Kikongo. The Kongo science MANDOMBE is based in two elements looking like 5 and 2, as the 5 breads and 2 fishes.
      Later on the Kongo masters planted Christianity Israel to be spread all over the world. If people knew that it is a black religion, they wouldn’t give it importance.

    What’s the name of Congo spirituality

    • @isismoon
      @isismoon  9 місяців тому +2

      Honestly, I have yet to find one consistent word used in the Congo. However, what I have found is that it is actually common among many other ethnic groups and areas of Africa for the people to practice a traditional ancestral based spiritual system without calling it a specific name. I had the pleasure of discussing spirituality with a Bamileke chief (ethnic group in Cameroon) about their traditional spiritual practices and asked if there was a name. He didn't really specify one either. So from what I gather, sometimes certain practices are just embedded in the culture, and may not always have a formal label. But I do seek to one day, give a descriptive name to my personal Congo spiritual practices.
