“Weapons of Noxus” is such an interesting title for this clip… First you have Sion, who was once a proud warrior of Noxus; but has since had his “glorious death” defiled by opportunistic tyrants; and is now nothing but a mindless, undead berserker. Then you have Samira, who isn’t Noxian, or particularly believes in their cause, but fights for them because she is A) a mercenary, and B) because it’s THRILLING. They are not CHAMPIONS of Noxus…at this point, they aren’t supporting their ideals, or swearing fealty…they are, quite literally, WEAPONS of Noxus…one by contract; the other by servitude. It makes this such a clever pairing.
Well samira do belive Noxus ideals, Shurima's regime (the ascended) destroyed her home and killed her parents, and nobody in shurima helped her because he wasnt worth the trouble, yet noxus saw her potential and gave her a home and a carrer, and a path were her skill matter and not if she was or wasnt decended of some furry demigod. She just like to play by her own rules and not serve the leaders of Noxus, probably because her bad experiences with authority, but she is definitly loyal to Noxus beyond her contract.
I love the duality of this two, the frenzy of perfect samira's moves and the brute but strong ones of Sion, the complement each other in a marvelous wy.
Yeah but he isn't really exactly a "weapon of Noxus". Kled is just doin Kled things in the lore. from that title I thought I'd be seeing Rell since she was also groomed to be a tool of Noxus in her lore but I think she was more of a "weapon of the Black Rose".

well canonicaly a lot of time has passed since sion was resurrected, probably noxus would find a way to fix him little by little or maybe sion is regaining a little conscience .

She's so use to the task that she understands his movements and acts accordingly. Sion seems to only understand that he shouldn't attack her, but when he is in rage mode she constantly has to dodge the friendly fire from him.

Samira is beautiful here, everything is so smooth allowing us to see her midcombat chill, and all here abilities implemented so neatly into the choreography?? this is so dope

On wild rift, Samira is good if you know how to play her, Sion is such a poor state even if he's tanky, it's just too easy to go against a sion. Good Samira builds lifesteal and crits, she needs to sustain long enough to proc her S ult. So many ppl go jus dmg and she dies before she use her ult.
My girl finally getting the cinematic she deserves. But this is just too PG13 for my tastes. Like they try to hide the blood and gore from the sword and axe slashes.
I still wonder why they gave Samira a gunblade but don't acknowledge it. Her up-close Q has the sword explode, and she even reloads it during her walking animation sometimes, but they only ever say "her sword" when talking about it. It's like whoever designed the animations and weapon model had gunblade in mind, but that's about it. Hopefully we get a purely gunblade focused character someday..
I imagine Samira was thinking about killing Sion at the end but didn't because she thought, "they'd just revive him again." Ultimately deciding not to, to avoid the paperwork back home.
This clip got it all wrong. First Sion has to run past the enemy. Then he proxy-farms a few waves. When they engage onto him he ults to run away while screaming "Cowards!".
I'm just sayin, Sion not knocking Samira aside and just bumping her out of the way is the nicest he's ever been to someone I think. He didn't even throw in a "Get out of the way". Also, Samira over here straight playin Devil May Cry. XD
