Platypus Rescue HQ Dubbo

A very good and nicely designed facility, it's so important to care for these unique creatures as good as we can. Some lovely shots from zoo, and heaps of great art. Love the track you chose too - makes a very enjoyable a/v package 😊

All the (very appropriate) celebration of the platypus still seems strange to me. Here, because we have nothing like them, they seem like mythical creatures, and yet, in Australia, they are a national treasure and a headline attraction. Of course, you don't see giraffes and hippos outside of a zoo in Australia, so I guess that ought to seem strange to me, too. Somehow, it's not the same. Excellent production, Cat! Not only are you a super platypus, you're a super filmmaker, as well.

Thank you so much yes I agree the platypus is rather a mythological creature a mammal that lays eggs is rather strange lol. I think San Diego Zoo have the first platypuses in captivity outside Australia. I heard they are one of the leading zoos on conservation which is good. I find American nature lovely too, the moose you filmed in your biking video was lovely to see.
