After WAVE got involved we asked for a bunch of extra stuff (such as the translations both in game and the manual) so Dan had even more to do than he originally planned for. Running with Scissors were fully on board with this, and this is officially licensed from them :) They also provided a bunch of artwork, an exclusive quote for the manual, and were overall just really awesome dudes. Dan and RWS get a royalty from every copy sold, so by buying this you’re giving them both a massive thank you for their involvement.

A gap in Adam's dreamcast games collection is unthinkable to Adam. But with these indie games there has to be a cut-off point somewhere. At some point Adam will have to say "I can't do it anymore". It will be sad but it has to be done for sanity reasons. It happens to all of us in the end.
great port, like i said, the Dreamcast was like a gaming PC and many PC games were ported to the Dreamcast, i hope Wave someday creates a Dreamcast port of the sequel of this game called Postal 2, in my opinion that's a better game than Postal 1 and it also came out on PC, it came out in 2003 though, 2 years after the unfortunate discontinuation of the Dreamcast

The Dreamcast was a lot more powerful than the average household computer in 1997, many people still gamed in software mode back then without a voodoo. I have no doubts this port was likely just an EZ windowsCE job, but still props to them doing it.
It was actually a great deal of hard work over 18 months, built using KOS with a complete rewrite of significant portions of the engine such as rendering and audio systems. So no, I can assure you that it wasn't quick or easy.

Critical Mass (demo of Annihilation) runs well on super lowend hardware. I have an NVS 2100M, that's how bad it is yet it plays so well up to 720p. I don't know how I managed to play Crossout be in 2019 (probably that DX9 backwards compatibility). It's kinda like this test I made here>ua-cam.com/video/yMkI-Sl1gK0/v-deo.html. Yep, they boot these applications just fine. The only real problem I keep coming across is my 32 bit limitation. I need 64 bit Windows and never go back.
The POSTAL Franchise is a celebration of the Mature Rating! In fact the 2003 sequel POSTAL 2 was the 1st game ever rated M+17 by the ESRB for "Intense Violence". It also carries warnings of Mature Humor, Adult Language, Use of Drugs, Blood & Gore! In other words, it's F*CKING Sweet!!
Good lord, this game was so shockingly gruesome and fun. The outrage against it was hilarious. I played it a ton when it came out and this is awesome to see. There were cheats you could type in on the keyboard during gameplay, "GIMMEDAT" was the one that replenished all your weapons and health. I'm dying to know if the guy that ported it made the dreamcast keyboard work with those cheats!
Just yesterday I saw that Civvie put out a vid on the newest postal game, and the game looked good enough to where I just stopped watching the vid and bought it. It was an incredibly fun time, the studio went really heavy into arcade shooter gameplay for it. Kind of funny seeing this the day after experiencing postal for myself the first time.
Anybody else have problems with downloading the CDI from WAVE after purchasing? I clicked on the link they emailed me, the download failed 3 times in a row after around 500MB and now it says I am out of download attempts for the game. Really bummed, I wanted to play it before my physical copy arrived AND I have an ODE anyway. I also saw people had mentioned it was free to download before and they changed that...weird stuff going on.

I get not making it free because people will just download it and not pay but really lame it looks like you can download it after purchasing the physical game but it fails. I'm sending them some emails about the situation, hopefully I get a response.

Adam, I've always wondered why the bookshelf behind you is so closely nudged up against that door frame. Is there no room on the other side allowing for some breathing room? What's more; what's on the other side of that door? It looks slightly smaller than a regular-sized door but may be an optical illusion. Is it a regular-sized door? Is the size indictive of what's behind the door? Let me know. I've been curious for years upon years.

I'm not saying video games cause these mass shootings nor should we glorify, it's just interesting history that this game was criticised for inspiring the shooter.

I remember wean Tech TV reviewed the PC version of Postal they told us that it was based on a real event and that it was branded in a lot of nations.

You should consider buying Postal 2... Even if it crashes if you do something ever so slightly wrong that the game doesn't like.

The cover disc version of Planet Ring came in a case like that so you could say it's a slimmer style PAL DC case.

I think I still got Postal 2 on steam, I mostly play it for the peeing
I played a part of it. I used the twin sticks, which was pretty good. Dislike the graphics though and the game does get a bit boring after a while
Pretty boring game to play single player, would be more fun if they added a new cooperative mode.
