Exactly! In that case that young roe deer had fought so so hard to escape and being a male, it was not on our Hunting planning, not an individual to kill that year! 😜
Gracias Tomas!!
You really made my day :) 1 question in which country are you hunting?
What was the reason for letting the roe deer go ? I’m assuming there would have been severe puncture wounds to its back legs which would most likely turn septic
It’s just a question of management of hunting terrain! If the animal is not exactly the kind we want to quit of the habitat and it’s just blessed in muscles we leave it.. it’s not always like this
I started having a fascination with predatory birds I. The last couple of years. I have yet to see an eagle in the wild unless it was too high for me tell. That’s like a gift. 💝
@@blaisepunturo1412 I think it depends on distance of fly and the time the falconer takes to get to help his bird! It’s really diferent hunt if the bird fights de prey alone or not! The same diference for deers! Fada prefers largely to take foxes than roe deers because foxes are taken by head and his defenses are bloqued! I think (its just an hypothesis) that it should be more dramatic and more dangerous to take a full ground European Lynx than a big wolf! Just beacause the Lynx have 5 defenses (claws + fangers)
🤣🤣🤣🤞 this day I had the lucky to don’t have to run! Is a friend of mine who had finnished exhaust! 😅 I’was so calm trying to film with dron..🤣🤣🤣 Many thanks!

It depends on kind of catch and size of prey, if the prey have been wounded I avoid suffering as faster as I can! If its an adult with no wounds sometimes we realese it.. depends on kind of deer population management into the concrete hunting land!
Fascinating. Dad was weighing his birds all the time on a converted baby scale with beams. We had prairie falcons and kestrels. My uncle had a Merlin. Pretty cool stuff for kids to be around. Great videos.

You released the deer at the end because it fought so hard for its life, well done. 👏

this actually makes me want to start in falconry it's so amazing very experienced insane footage! You really made my day :) 1 question in which country are you hunting?
In High Catalonian Pyrenees (spain) and in center-north of Spain, there are footages of both kind of lands
DIFFERENT CLASS!!! 👏🏻👏🏻

Nice video which gopro is it ?

Taking exam again. Amazing view watching this beauty hunt.
I plan on getting into eagle falconry one of these days but do you have moments where you just fly her? Or is it always for a hunt
most of flights are in hunting action, there's some 3-4 sequences flying at glove or soaring
I'm just watching through all ure footage yet again never get tired off it amazing is she imprint or parent raised 👍
Many thanks!! She is double imprinted
Parent and human raised
Love to learn falconry - but running like that?no but that was amazing.
🤣🤣 run to help this spartan girl! Spartans need some help too

Simply epic
How did u mount the GoPro to track pack
do you guys hunt wolves with the eagles?
No! we have to conserve our wolves here! we have a really too low population!

How much does Fada weigh?
4600gr hunting weight
...she has killed foxes at 4950-5000gr
And sometimes roe deer at 4800gr
When she starts new season she hunts at very high weights
