In my opinion yes it is worth it, better bass than the xtreme 2 and it gets quite loud although if you have the money for a boombox 2 or 3 than you should get that. The bass and the loudness sets the 2 speakers apart as the boombox Is quite a bit louder and has a lot more bass
Those sidebumpers is so you can put it upright on the floor or a table and bass still has somewhere to go, I think that it is a smart design! That way it takes up less space aswell, good option to have when ever needed!

Yeah but if you use the charger that came with it it’ll charge faster and if you use it while it’s charging off of it’s own charger it gives it a performance boost making it louder and it more bass

I already tried restarting and factory restarting nothing works bcs the buttons won t work. Also i can t turn off the speaker i can only turn it on and conect to my phone. I can only turn off my speaker by pressing start up button 8times times and hold it for 10 secs. The speaker plays music and videos normally without problems. PLS I NEED HELP
Thanks for the great video! How about considering more budget-friendly JBL alternatives? For example the Treblab HD-Max speaker. I think this is a worthy alternative to the Xtreme 3.
Those side bumpers are barely noticeable from a distance and they're translucent they're really not a big deal, plus they help protect the speaker so they're a big win for JBL in my book, people will get used to them in no time
Exactly, they don't change enough of the rest of the speaker (check the boombox vs boombox 2) and need something to use to market the new speaker so this is what they pull. I'll give them an excuse and say partyboost is on Bluetooth 5 and connect+ is Bluetooth 4.2 and below
I have the Sony XB43 and the JBL Extreme III. Must say JBL wins it, despite the Sony has an EQ and a Lightshow. With the volume all the way up, the sony loses its quality. JBL keeps it going.

The JBL Xtreme 3 is lighter because the new drivers have neodymium magnets, I find that pretty cool
