really.....a loss where Luka played 3 minutes and most starters played limited minutes is defining where Dallas stands now? They played a grand total of 3 games over 3 weeks, how can you tell?
Mavs just need a starting center. But you are right they are in hell. My biggest thing is JKidd as the coach and Luka complaining every fucking call. JKidd doesn't have a playbook on offense. Thats all Luka. Its all about defense from him but then doesn't play Josh Green. I sure as hell miss Rick Carlisle. He was an asshole but knew offense. One on one shouldn't be the main offense.
What are you talking about ?.. It's still preseason .. The Mavs were hurt when they traded their best defensive players last year .. They have now loaded up on Defensive players .. They are now going to have a top rated offense and defense..
Its a bit premature to say this. So far they're doing well, and of course, that's still very premature since its just two games. There's 80+ games in the league. Like, as of right now, the lively take was damn horrible. But again, premature. We won't know until later.
I think they'll be better than expected. Dante Exum is another good perimeter defender aside from Green. And Luka and Kyrie will stagger their minutes so that one of the two will almost always be on the court while the other one rests.
@Xylian-dz1pb grant williams does not have the footspeed to be as versatile like dfs, he can do some things dfs can but i still think dfs the best fit for luka
@@Sapionex I do think Exum will definitely get consistent minutes this season. He plays good defense, he can drive to the rim, and he can handle the ball, all of which are needed on Dallas' roster. Other than Josh Green, Exum is their best hope for guarding the other top Guards in the league.
@@Sapionex I do agree that DFS is a better and more versatile defender. However Williams is a better and more versatile offensive player. Grant is a smart defender though, and just having him out there will help the defense compared to what it was after DFS was traded. Overall I think this year's roster is definitely better than last year's roster at any point.
Box! Out! I get sick of watching supposedly the best in the world not tracking bodies with their eyes. They give up weakside cuts like candy on Halloween. Being a great shooter or great defender takes tons of hard work and practice --- but rebounding is a choice!
Mavs won't be a contender until Luka decides to stop crying on every play he doesn't score on. He ruins the chemistry when he's missing shots, not getting back,and holding his head down.
Sick video dude, keep up the good work. Been diving into the mavs a bit myself and it does look shockingly dark. But part of me believes IF luka and kyrie buy in defensively and luka specifically takes on a larger leadership role + lively adapts relatively quickly they can avoid total hell, biding their time to add pieces around this core. history indicates the opposite of all of those things though... The story of the mavs could be one of great surprise with another amazing season from luka and a resurgence of kyrie. perhaps Josh Green looks for a larger offensive role, he showed a few flashes in preseason but he has trouble finishing at the rim consistently. Or this thing ends in like you said, nba hell. With luka potentially asking out. It's not as if this team is a contender if everything breaks right anyways. they're easily one of the most intriguing teams this season, but not for good reasons.

i think they should go after clint capela they could easily match the contract and he would be a good fit with luka

@@SapionexDFS regressed quite a bit, he was getting cooked all last year and his 3pt shooting was awful
