WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria will take us from level 10 all the way to 70 on a super accelerated pace to chew through the campaign, dungeons and raids that the past expansion had. Not only that, patch 10.2.7 will bring crazy new gear and gems to really explode our power level and it does make you wonder… how much of this can be translated into the live game at one point?

If they can do this with every expansion on a rotating schedule, then im all in. I never experienced any of those old expansions other than legion and dragonflight.
Enough with the rotation. This is a good test for a potential world revamp where the leveling will be different all the time due to the mass amounts of random gear available. If this proves successful, it should be applied to all prior expansions and available all the time.

That's funny I also only played Legion and Dragonflight. My opinion is Legion was 10x better. Dragonriding is good, but the story and quests are pretty lame in my opinion.
Yeah if they could not try to sell me a game I've already bought and just produce new content that would be good.

I’ve played every expansion on launch. But with MOP i was there for launch but then had to step away as thats when my son was born. So now getting to have, as close as possible, to another chance to play it is amazing.

@@Thrall966 sure. I played in Shadow lands. I quit after they took bear tartare for me, because blizzard was maximizing time played instead of active subscriptions for their stock meetings, and even tho is a game, I don't like to feel I'm wasting my time. If they improve farming of old content and do this type of things, I will definitely stay again.

I love this. I can guarantee this will be in every Season 4 content patch. We’ll have big Remix seasons towards the end before the next expansion arrives. Looking forward to Legion Remix.
They should call the system “Timewalking Seasons”. Each season can be a particular set of content and have a particular twist like a Diablo or PoE season. This one could be Season of Pandamonium.
just came back into wow after not playing since the rerelease of vanilla and i cannot wait for this, MoP was easily my favorite/most played expansion I can’t wait to level through it again man
Do you think we may see Xalatath in this event since we have been seeing her in SOD? I think it be really cool if she somehow popped up during this event tying all different versions of wow together even further.

so as a new player i can play this to level to max and then move that character over to retail? do i have to start from the beginning of retail with the transfered character?
I always play tanks and already have all 6 in the 480 range so I'll be starting a new dk for this, I am super excited I lvoed that expansion.
Do we need to be lvl 70 before converting it to retail and can i continue leveling with char on lvl 27 for example?

always enjoyed MoP , i did many many achievments there, was sad the journey always ended in the 2nd zone. now i could experience all of it, sounds good.
Very excited for this but I don't really have a need for additional level characters, in one case I do. I have a level 1 Warlock I have not leveled but have been meaning too.
That being said I don't really get to level as a warlock and feel it out / learn how to be a warlock if I am doing it as a timerunner, torn on if I will do it or just use some "throwaways" for the event
Missed this expansion so im' definitely going to be grinding this on Windrunner-NA
I want to know some more information about professions since the AH is disabled.

What about the Challenge mode armor sets or their recolors?
I wonder if they will bring back challenge mode sets. That would get people hyped.

One question : when we are levelling, do we use Pandaria talents or Dragonflight ones?
Most likely CURRENT ones, so Dragonflight, can't use MoP talents with Demon Hunters for instance

@eodyn7 hell nah classes are shit nowadays compared to how fun they where in MoP. Warlocks back in MoP was probably the closest thing to perfect i have ever seen in this game. Xelnath was truly amazing and sucks blizzard fired him back then.
but is there PvP? Hope there is fun BGs open crazy WPvP with all this fun gear and power.

Woo, handsome new haircut! I can't wait for this. I have played since very late vanilla, but I really look forward to this. Besides, I would prefer this and something similar 10000x over the pirate shizzle that we got. I actually do think that this... dare I say... will be fun.
leveling alts is my jam! this is more my style than Plunderstorm!
They should do these for every expansion on a rotation it would be so cool for new players like me to play old expacs

I don't know what I am going to play but I can't wait to start it(haven't played pandaria) any advice for who has 13 lvl 70 horde and a few aliance char? Anyway have to do the keymaster asap so when this releses I can focus on this 😁 exited
yeah, turn on Auto Loot, even your unwanted items will be useful to you.
Not even out yet and it definitely needs to become the new method of leveling. Choose an expansion and be able to play through it like this to current expansion then convert to main game.
I will for sure main Paladin for this mode. Why? I don't know, but seeing what can happen to classes in this mode will be fun for sure.
I don't know about the raid-to-level thing. Problems with that might include:
1) it won't be worth doing to level because it takes too long
2) it's going to be a little too difficult to be worth trying to do to level
OR
3) it's going to be way too easy and just turns into another levelling dungeon... just longer
4) if it's not queued content - well I'm fucked and plenty of other people are too
5) if it is queued content - requires 2 tanks and 2 healers at the very least and 6 other players (at least). Since it's only for levelling, there might not be enough people trying to do it (considering the problems above) and it might take forever to queue up as a dps (I mean even BFA dungeons take forever sometimes). AND if it is queued, it just sort of adds to the difficulty problem, because well pugs are difficult unless the content is extremely easy and boring.
6) I don't trust Blizzard to do anything right anymore
Mop was the best it had an arcade style feel it was fun and challenging
Fun fact: if u play 10 hours a day, it would take around 243 days to obtain the 1,217,100 Bronze coins this is the total you need for all the new items in World of Warcraft Remix: Mists of Pandaria. This is assuming u can earn approximately 500 coins per hour.

AFTER the event yes, they will be 70 and ready for TWW as long as you get them there, i will be running a Warlock, Hunter, Rogue and Paladin through Remix to get all the transmogs.

base game to BfA is free, shadowlands is accessible via chromie time for free too, but 60-70 requires dragonflight

@@ZahryD so far the Cloak was powered to give 324% EXP, so it's gonna be about powering up the Cloak, similar to that of an Artifact like The Heart Of Azeroth, just hopefully not as grindy.

Really hope a they do a diablo 3 type season, where you can take your existing characters and transfer them to level again
they've already stated that when they transfer over they will have their level, gear and mogs.

The way I understand it, all retail classes are available using current talent trees.

The mechanic in the follower dungeons are kinda wonky
You can level from 10-20 on a free trial but you need a sub past that

No , you have to create a character and level him to 70 , once you hit 70 you unlock heroic raids
new characters only, they have to be spawned into the Remix roster, and there will be no AH

Edit: I love that you said this could pave the way to new xpacs being opened up, someone in another video made a good point that it feels like Microsoft might be trying to fix chromie time and make it a seasonal thing, so instead of FOMO this will be temporary but if it works out and everyone likes it for each xpac, it could be perfect on a cycle!
On the note of the legendary cloak, I'm right there with you. I never got to have it back in MoP cause I was a PVP only person, thus I never thought about it.
I have high hopes for the WoW Remix event, and I know it can't disappoint after seeing everything they've tried, because even if it does they will just step back and step up with even bigger and better ideas.
Edit 2: also I love the idea of the toys, that's amazing, especially on an 8 hour interval which is rng based (theoretically) this is amazing!
This is good for 2 things:
1. It’s a good testing ground for classic MoP
2. This makes older content relevant and and fun to do as you don’t one shot everything just by spitting at them
All these new cool features they keep releasing…and it’s never enough for Assmons simp army that always find their way to every wow vid that is released

What’s the date for 10.2.7 to drop?
not long after season 4, it is on the PTR as of right now, so when it's ready, we'll be the first to know.
You currently don't have to pay for any expansions to start playing retail, similar to Classic.
You ONLY need a sub and you can play immediately everything other than the current expansion.
I know because I recently came back to the game, made a brand new account and I got started as soon as I paid for the sub. Paid for the War Within which now effectively counts as both TWW and DF as a 2 in one.

MoP was created back when Blizzard was trying to move in on China market now they want to move back in so they come up with this event.

I was telling this to my friends couple of months ago, why not include raids as part of leveling experience? Why not use it to teach new players endgame before endgame? Why is leveling still completely different than endgame?
