Oh boy, what a fantastic discovery this was for me! I am now follwing Alexandra Campbell and bought her guide on privacy, the book i was looking for as a new house will be built next door. Your questions are so interesting, Tanya, and allowed her to answer in a riveting way. What a wonderful moment this video was! To celebrate, I treated myself to your book too. I am not a maker of beautiful things, but I feel I could under your gentle guidance!
I ordered all my friends A Woman’s Garden for our little garden club and I’m so excited to give them out !! It’s an incredible work of art I love it so much
Just for your information, I received my copy of your book on Thursday, May 6th in Atlanta USA! It was so worth the wait! Am devouring every single page!!
Thank you Tanya. This topic gets the mind on beautiful plantings as we are planting out summer crops here Illinois in the USA. We are frost free this weekend!
i finally received my book, 'A Women's Garden' and am so happy with the beautiful pictures and multiple projects...this video was fabulous and alexandra is so informative...much like yourself...(the greenhouse is so crystal clean)
Lovely video. Important to know that the edible lupins are different species from the ornamental (shown in the video) lupins that are toxic. Also choosing non-invasive lupins for garden is a good idea.
The topic of a beautiful edible garden is one I have been looking into for years. It is so wonderful to be finding more and more information on this topic over the last couple years! Thank you so much, Tanya and Alexandra for this interesting and informative video! (It is so good, I took notes!!!)
I received my copy of your book. I’m looking forward to reading it this weekend. Thanks for all the great information and the information on Alexandra. I didn’t realize she has books out too! Lovely interview.
Two of my favorite garden channels! There is so much good information here. I've been working on several garden areas and can definitely refer back to this video! Thank Tanya, I did not know Alexandra was an author. Fun, more books to look up :)
Both of you inspired me to do new tries for my small garden with a small space issue. Thank you so much. Fortunately, Amazon says your book can be delivered to my place, South Korea. It's supposed to be here on the 20th, May. I can't wait. :)
That was really interesting. I'm staring at my barren grass lawn feeling exceptionally inadequate! I love the idea of replacing fences with hedges, unfortunately I've got a very thin fence, with little room for planting something that would grow to a similar height (say 80cm) whilst taking up a narrow footprint. I'll keep searching.
I've never seen a pear hedge before @9:09 it'd be great to know how to achieve that. I've just had a quick google and I can only see advice on wild pear trees.
@@trevorwills3356 we have an established hazel in our garden and I've never managed to taste any hazelnuts...the squirrels get them before I can blink!
Hello from Spain. great vídeo for those of us begining. Sorry, i didn't understand the name of the fruit tree Alexandra recomends, that keeps fruits until february And the pictures didn't help me because i don't recogbise it. what's the name?
Let nature take it back Tan, let the bugs and the bees take their place. Keep feeding it but let it rest for 5 years and grow its own humus. Then after the five years are up make it a dedicate space. The plants are not important, the biodiversity of the area is. Learn your birds, insects, sun positioning, wind strength and treat accordingly. You know what i mean. x.
Hi Lovely Green garden Why don't you ask Phillip Payne the Horticulturist that on the Island. He's k Owston so much.Adk the trained professional put your 2 heads together
Lovely to feel like we're all sat together chattering over a cup of tea. I'm dividing and designing a strip of my back garden.

Thanks. I've designed my 3rd half plot as an edible forest-style garden beginning of March 2020. It's coming along nicely
Here in Cyprus, my Nasturtiums are ready! Bring on the frattata!

Annual climbers might be an idea. Sweet peas, beans, or peas spring to mind.
@@Lovelygreens great idea! Work with the fence rather than against it! Very logical.
So inspiring me
thx for good information 👍
Very informative - edible hedge - love that idea - gonna speak to the neighbour right now. ;-)
There are so many interesting ideas given by Alexandra, I really enjoyed watching this. 🌻
One question, what are the flowers shown at 6'38"?
I think that they are the same single dahlias that I also grow in the allotment. The variety is called Bishop of Oxford
Thank you!
Do you mind me asking if you have help with your gardening and landscaping? Thank you.
Good
I've never seen a pear hedge before @9:09 it'd be great to know how to achieve that. I've just had a quick google and I can only see advice on wild pear trees.
You can also grow a hedge which produces edible nuts .

More important than anything is planting for pollinators.
Very useful video! Also, I love your blouse! Where is it from, if you don’t mind me asking?
It's from the Oxford Shirt Company :)
Knows so much and is a professional etc
Hi ya!. Thanks 🙏
