- So we finally got the opportunity to ride the all-new TVS Jupiter 2024 - which is essentially the next-gen model of the Indian automobile company's top-selling model. With a new chassis, new engine and completely different design language, the new Jupiter will pose a bigger threat to Honda Activa 6G which still lacks various features offered on the former. Thanks to its lighter weight and power assist, the new Jupiter is faster and offers around 10% more mileage. We expect it to offer a realistic mileage of around 55kmpl. In this video we tell you all the big positives and negatives of the new scooter in case you are planning to buy one.
Disclaimer - The vehicle was provided to AutoYogi by TVS Motor company at its production facility in Hosur, and we tested it mainly on the company's in-house track.

Kickstart missing in higher variants is another negative point as Kickstart is a basic need and not a luxury or good to have feature. I do understand the fuel injector concepts but if it can be given in lower and middle variants they why not in premium variants!

I analysed Activa and Jupiter in 2015 and went for Jupiter. It gives more mileage, has more balance, bigger tyre size and super easy to park on main stand.
The way TVS has grown from making Excel to Apaches and Jupiters is commendable. It makes the best scooters and will surely bypass Hero, Bajaj and also might be Honda someday
TVS already bypassed Hero and Bajaj in innovation and utility and quality.
Can never beat honda refine durable engine. Tvs engines usually run smooth for 5 6 yrs. Yes other features are good but not much use once engine degrades

And my friends have TVS bikes, scooty that are 8-9 years old. They run just fine.

Jupiter is a very good scooter with good essential features and smooth engine... I have the last version bought exactly a year ago. Only problem I am facing is with break pads.. they create an irritating noise everytime we apply the breaks.. even the service centre said that they don't have any solution.. even if we change the break pads, it will again give same problem....

Yogiji I just saw base variant of this bike(on other utuber channel) and God it's really good... the steel wheels are awesomely designed by tvs.... the base variant is actually THE WAY TO GO .

Is it Safe to buy this Jupiter 113 cc DISK Brake variant as it doesn't have ABS so chance of slipping .......? and also heard that Combi brake works only 15% and not 50-50 in either braking?

Do not take ev. I'm already using ev and planning to shift to petrol since there's a lot of headache of charging and maintenance. Also, I used my e scooter in rain many times but after 2 years it doesn't perform the same way. There might be short circuit and charging issue which you have to be careful about.

Product toh badiya dikh raha hai, but activa is the legend in the segment... Honda's engine refinement and build quality is best in the segment, although activa miss out with lots of conveinance features, but they are the king and leading the segment and its hard to beat them.. But jupiter is the top and best competitor of activa and offers more features and conveinance in this segment... So for engine refinement and build quality honda activa and for features and looks tvs jupiter...
TVS has actually improved engine refinement at least on the new Jupiter 110.

Kick starter should have been provided in the top version too.
And unfortunately that's the only model that comes with a disc brake. So if you want a kick start, sacrifice the disc and vice versa.

Exactly as Kickstart is a basic need and not a luxury or good to have feature. That too if it can be given in lower and middle variants they why not in premium variants? What if customer need a top notch product with both disk and Kickstart features. Seems TVS has done cost cutting for top variants but that will be deciding Factor for some customer like me. Same they have done in 125cc SXC version

I have used almost all scooter brands like tvs wego, jupitor, honda activa, access, hero marstro, yamaha fascino but the undisputed king in the segment is Suzuki Access.
activa owners accept nhi kar arhe hai ki activa abb bahut outdated hogaya hai new jupiter ko dekhe unki sach me jaali hai paar woh logg accept nhi karr rahe hai mere dost ne new jupiter ka test drive liya hai woh bola ki uske activa se toh 10x times achi hai toh in short activa ko bhi major updates dena hi padega aagar unhe scooter segment me jinda rehna hai toh
I have a Jupiter, old model. recently I drove my friend's Activa and I was surprised by how smooth the ride was. I will test drive this to see if the refinement levels are comparable. But will I buy a new scooter? LOL no. There is no reason to spend another 70,000 rupees when I get on fine with my current scooter.

i just bought Ntorq and i am extremely dissapointed with shake and vibration, even in idle situation and very low speed the vibration is crazy, i am looking for very smooth and comfortable ride with no shake hiccup. how is jupiter brother in engine and riding feel ? fast response would be great as i am going to replace it.

Please also tell NVH level of vehicle engine sound. Because everyone knows Activa has very low engine noise compared to Jupiter and it's turnoff for most buyers. *NVH or NAVH* I don't know but my point is related to engine volume.

Confused in: Tvs star city plus vs Hero splendor, passion plus/ xtech, vs Honda shine 100 vs platina 110 ?? Can I install tubeless tyres in Platina, shine 100 aftermarket? How's tvs and hero's 2wheelers for long term? Reliable? Can trust?
Or ignore all these and directly go for Honda sp125 by increasing budget? Sp125 is good for beginners? Already mentioned my requirements 👆🏻
