JG3 has been my EDC for a couple of years. When I first started carrying it, I kept my $300 folding knife on me, just in case. I had to clean the folder yesterday because I haven’t opened it in a very long time. I’m an HVAC tech for a school district and there’s no “bushcraft” to how I use my JG3. She opens boxes, cuts straps, strips wire, digs out splinters, and will finely slice a carrot. This is a great knife.
Confession time: I've spent way too much money on Esee knives in the last 6 months. I think I'm up to 8 now, should be getting my JG3 next week. Can't wait to EDC this one for a while (my current is an E4).
The jg3 is my favorite esee so far. I have the jg3, the 6, and 4hm. The jg3 fits my hand so well as to not fatigue, comes to a razor edge and is easy to carry horizontally at 11 o’clock. I did upgrade the sheath to kydex, and the handle I soaked in oil.. I love this knife
