I honestly hate playing this matchup. Ken ruins this game somewhat. They need to pick something hes bad at, and make him REALLY bad at it. Off the top of my head I'd say they should straight up neuter his air normals so he loses most interactions when jumping so he can stop just keep crossing up back and forth when he panics. then buff his strengths. make his run faster and let him super out of his target combo. So on the ground hes a menace but characters with dive kicks and air grabs make him sweat when you pressure him since he knows he cant just jump into a cross up.
The MU is not easy, but it's manageable. It requires an extremely in-depth knowledge of spacing and frames, which is hard to control in sf6. Blaz is an Ed main, so imagine.
@SiberianLab I know knowledge checks are a part of any fighting game. But I think giving one of your lowest skill cap characters some of the best mix up in the game is just straight up poor design. From MOBAs to team FPS, the higher complexity a character, the more tough they should be to read since the bar to entry is so high. Ken completely breaks this rule, which is why he had been top 3 in tier and usage since the game dropped.
@@MKG176 To be honest, SF6 is pretty easy overall. While Ken is one of the offenders, he's not the only one. I'd argue almost every top tier is exactly like him. At least in terms of what they have to do. More than Ken, I feel tweaks to the game mechanics like 2MK could balance the game way more than nerfing individual tools.
*Proud Zangief noises*
I wonder what could they be. Like RRRGGG?
I went to the event and was fortunate enough to get wrecked by Bolado and Blaz in casual sets. Chill guys. Incredible experience❤
I bet you learnt a lot.
Do you have a discord for your fellow grapplers?

Getting crossed up is the definition of a skill issue.
