Sorry if the quality is strange-my Filmora crack no longer works after I rebuilt my system, so I have to find another crack later. Edit: you can tell whether a unit is Ouvia or Pneuma via the vision casings, which I found out. So this point here at 4:41 is null. SunWei’s Version: ua-cam.com/video/u-hV5fm-HPE/v-deo.html
Fun fact: Fontain visions have different designs depending on whether or not the characters are Ousia or Pneuma aligned. Ousia visions have rounder "tips" and have counter clockwise "waves". Meanwhile, Pheuma visions have more angular "tips" and the "waves" are clockwise. Furina's vision is the only outlier so far considering how she can switch between alignments. Also, some Fontaine weapons can glow either blue or gold depending on the character's alignment. Like that craftable sword from fontaine. I can't remember if there are any other weapons that do that too tho
Thank you for these!! I was disheartened when i got totally trashed by them and got discouraged that my team is bad 😔.. but after watching this video and knowing how to do it.. it's actually pretty easy 😭🙏 now my Navia is getting stronger! Already hitting good at level 60
Well this is a good thing tbh cause the other end with games like these is that it would be needed no questions asked and that would have been worse... Not to mention in the dev stream they did say it wasn't meant to be this big combat advantage. (also atleast Lynette with the mechanic oneshot the shield as a element that would not be otherwise do so good for teams that don't want pyro i guess even tho there seems to be ways for those teams outside of her)
It's both good and bad. The good, which I mentioned in the video, is that it doesn't fully punish the player for not using the mechanic, because there are essentially no invincibility phases for this particular boss. So as long as you're wary of the Coppelius shield, you're good. Like, props to that. The bad, is that the feature seems really half-baked and thrown in as an afterthought, but the in-game tips seem to really emphasize its usage, especially in the tips. Like I also mentioned in the video, the game leaves out information for you to use it properly. In this particular case, it doesn't tell you you have to hit the boss 3x with Ouvia/Pnuema, yet gives you an achievement for doing it, even when the process isn't fully complete, which can leave a lot of players confused.
@@toufusoup I mean its a text error that should be fixed i agree. now that doesn't make it half baked when the whole idea was not to make a big deal in combat to begin with... it was for the world building of fontaine and exploration (all this was very clear from the 4.0 stream with the devs) The achievement is for removing coppeliuses shield not for stunning him so its fine.
That's... kinda what I was complaining about, how it's sorta weirdly incorporated into combat and how the game's text and such doesn't fully give you a proper set of instructions of what you need to do with this boss fight. I didn't say anything about it being half-baked in the context of exploration and such, at least I don't believe so. The issue I take is exactly what you've said: "The whole idea was not to make it a big deal in combat to begin with." Then why, in the game's tips for this boss fight, does it make it seem like if you use Ouvia and Pneuma, you get something as seemingly helpful as "overloading" the boss, "reducing their attacks," and "progressing the performance" when in reality it really doesn't do much for the player? That's the point I'm trying to get across. The exploration and world-building with the mechanics are intuitive and fun. But not in combat.
@@toufusoup in reality it does what it says it does tho? only thing wrong about the text is that it makes it seem that only one hit does all of it when its one hit to remove the shield and 3 to stun. also it doing more would make the design just a force to use these characters... there is no half way for these kinda games sadly.
It only "half" does what it says it does, if that makes any sense. I'm trying to get at is that having to hit the boss 3 times after finding out you have to do it more than once as per the incorrect instructions is unnecessary. I feel like they should either reduce it to 2 times, or at least if they force the 3 hits, you get more out of it, like maybe both bosses become incapacitated for about 5sec. I want this boss to be good and reward both types of gameplay--you should be able to do what I did with Yae and Nahida at the end of the video, or use the mechanics and get similar if not equal results. But as of now, using the mechanics doesn't reward you with much of anything, and that's the problem I have with it, considering the risk for reward ratio. Especially when the game goes out of its way to tell you to use the mechanics with supposedly appealing effects. Do you understand what I'm saying?
Fighting them the intended way feels like you’re handicapping yourself, which I like because of the challenge. In fact, I try to fight the meka enemies with pneumousia as much as possible for that reason.
It’s nice when you can disable their abilities in the overworld and in the water, I won’t dispute that, but it’s wholly underutilized in this boss fight.
@@toufusoup From what I can tell, it's just an annoying shield like Baptist where you need either the right arkhe or counter element else it just wastes 1/3 of your fight time. Which means you can run non pyro teams as long as you have the right arkhe.

Thanks for showing the safe spot in that phase
I stayed in the middle and got absolutely memed on 💀
When I fought this boss I expected Ousia and Pneuma orbs to spawn however that was unfortunately not the case and I got my cheeks absolutely clapped.
You’re honestly better doing the boss without them
Fun fact you can check the characters vision holder or frame to determine whether their ousia or pneuma
Yep, mentioned this in the pinned comment
Man they kinda farmed it on this boss I'm not gonna lie. Ouisa and Pneuma needed better implementation
farmed?
This guide got me through 12-3 this Abyss and it's my first ever F12 clear, ty so much ;w;

The ousia/pneuma thing is way too subtle I find it confusing

Thanks for sharing this.
I guess the main punishment is dps loss
My question is how are you able to tell and get the white thing instead of the purple thing. How do you get the right reward
coppelius is white and coppelia is purple
Maybe they got cold feet because some vocal minorities shout out before the release how they really will hate the new mechanics, 😅
Nope. I reject the last point 😝
Everything melts like butter with maxed out characters.
Yep.. case in point with my Nahida/Yae duo at the end lmaooooo
This fight is pretty awful on my alt account's aggravate team right now on 12-3-3
I’ll give it a shot, I haven’t done this abyss

What if you don’t have lyney who else can I use ?
Hydro Traveler is aligned with Pneuma
6:58 You good, dude? 😆
I’ve never been better
Why are most genshin youtube title "They're lying to you about...."? 😅
Well, in this case, it's in the thumbnail, and the game actually DOES lie to you and omit important information, which I explained in the video.
