Fun fact so don't any other car in the northeast 😂 fords Chevy Honda Toyota Nissan all cars will rust in the northeast unless its aluminum or fiberglass
Nice list Brad, one more to add is 2005 2006 up to 2009 nissan pathfinder, it has almost the same engine like 350z, both 2 and 4 wd, auto and manual, and a lot of other options
Great list, was hoping to see 3rd gen Acura TL-S in this list, can be found for under $10k, amazing peppy cars, attractive, comfortable, reliable with proper maintenance. 👍
My dad had a two door Wrangler and dodge ram 1500 pickup when I was a small kid... I have seen photographs with dad in it... And I bet every dollar that I got... That he really loved driving around on those wheels... ❤️
Wanna do a vid on cars under 5k with strong rear-ends for engine swaps? I want to engine swap a car but I am having a hard time deciding because I do not want to have to spend big-bank on a rear-end when I turn up the power over 500hp. I know the IS300/GS300/Aristo’s stock LSD and axles are intensely strong and will hold up to around 850whp, same with the MK3 Supra, and the Mustangs have the 8.8 diff but idk about the axle strength, G35/350Z diff and axles are also very strong, so are M3’s and 335i’s, but cars like an E36 or E46 328i, miata, 240sx, have weak diffs and axles that need money put into them. 🍻🙏✌️
My sister had a gs300. Smashed a set of rear axles in a year, literally stock and non turbo. But then again I've heard good stories like as in good for 700+hp and 9 second passes on stock axles and lsd. They look slow but they're also luxurious. I say go for it.
I have an NC miata. Couple easy swap options with it, take a 2.5L from almost any ford fusion, mazda6, mazda3, ford escape, or mercury milan. Sub-$1000 swap after it's all said and done and makes for a 200whp, 200ft-lb torquey monster of a miata. Can also bolt up an RX-8 subframe and have a rotary miata, and with the NC you can easily upgrade to RX-8 rear end parts, so you get a much stronger lsd than the Miatas
In the good old days maybe, its sad to see their prices going up now. I think the average for ones ive seen in the local area is like 10 to 15k and normally list it as a classic car project. Meanwhile several friends have them and whenever i search for cars they tell me "oh get a miata i got mine with 30k miles on it in 09 for just $2500"
Had a g35 coupe up here in Ontario Canada. Just put some winter tires on in the snow and your good to go. Same with 335 coupe I had. No problem in winter with good snow tires.
Brad thanx for this list and all the others. You turned me on to the EX35. Maybe do a a list of summer cars and winter cars or hot weather & cold weather. Include cars & suvs.
I’m in high school and looking for a car, but I don’t know if I want something fun like a mustang, or something more practical like a Jeep or a pickup.
The Nova went from a muscle car in the 60's to a rebadged Corolla in the 80's. Apart from the Dodge Challenger and Charger in the same time frame, I'm not sure of any other car that went through such drastic transformation.
Regarding the LS430, the 5 speed automatic transmission is widely regarded as the better transmission than the 6 speed they replaced those with. I don't know why though.
Abarth 500 would fit this list (for now, their value is shooting up quickly). Keep in mind it has a turbo and a huge aftermarket. With just a tune you have 200HP and parts are cheap not to mention the handling is one of the best on this list and it weighs less than a Miata.
Have had my LS430 for around 4 years and the check engine has turned on once because of the gas cap. If your into big body sedans and want to cruise the LS is the car for you.

Though I am a fan of these vids and how informational they are. I care a little less for them due to the fact that every “cheap” car he says I look up on multiple used car sites and dealerships and they’re still quite a hefty price, usually higher than what he says they should be.
Honestly the dodge 1500s are amazing trucks bought a 96 Dodge 1500 for only $600 it isn't the prettiest but it is a really reliable truck but the transmissions on them are not the best.
3 things. I have a different taste than a lot of people my age. To me the c5 corvette is just a incredibly clean, smooth, and slippery car with looks I don’t think anyone can hate but a lot of people don’t love. But I for one do love it. The only thing I wish was like a 2 or 3 inch longer hood and a shorter cab(in height). Old people owning them is a very good thing, do you think most of them are going to drive them to the ground like a teenager would a 350z? And performance is great by today’s standards and the z06 got the first under 8 minute lap at the Nurburgring, on 20 year old tires. You’d be running close to 7:35 on modern tires or 8 flat on the base model. That’s why I’ve been working for a c5. And under 10k is incredibly hard to find and the later the model for the most part the better
@@bdotguy5703 I did mention that in my comment. But I’m also aqaunted with the leader of the Kansas Corvette club and a 2001 c5 z06 owner. It’s doable but I’m not expecting to find the specs I’m looking for, mainly being a 2002 model or newer. My other absolute requirement is the t56 6 speed manual transmission.
From Germany in Europe: Want a 350Z, but also a Minivan? Look for the MKIV Renault Espace 3.5 V6. Great engine in a Minivan that reaches 0-60 in less than 8 seconds. Good sound too. Tight on budget? Audi A2s are dirt cheap here, and the A2 1.2 TDIs are one of the cars with the least fuel consumptions: under 3.5 liters/100 km is nothing.

If your going to get a V6 mustang please get a 2011 or 2012 with the 3.7 it’s a lot better than the 4.0 V6 before it and it’s fun to drive if you get a manual with a few affordable mods you have a nice auto cross vehicle and there is a ton aftermarket parts and you can easily get them under 10k
2008-2009 Ford Taurus’s/Mercury Sable’s are also cool affordable rare cars and have cheaper insurance than most of these cars and it’s more stylish and spacious than most
My sister is getting my parents old car which is a Mazda6 2016 version and it is amazing my parents also have a 2007 Honda Ridgeline That thing is also amazing.
