I think the mini booklet will be perfect for a "recipe" booklet that goes with my current page theme that can also just go onto into a corner pocket or maybe as a reattachable charm (may be to big of dangle); I think it will just save space instead of adding a writing space or doing a new page all together. Gonna give it a try today, 😊. Thank you, such a mini cutie.
Pam, you did a Great job creating 3 Lovely pieces in 30 minutes~Wow! Soo Pretty~Love All of them! I'm going to have to try this~Off Camera Of Course! Lol! On camera, I'd fumble, bumble, things would Fly off my table And...my Crafty Kitty Mink who supervises would probably be running around with an index card glued to tail!
Hello, Love your three in thirty. The mini journal is darling and the dental floss is such a good idea. I have lots. Recently I found myself in a place of need and everyone who helped gave some in their care package. It seems like every program that helps those in need gives the stuff. I have a water pic and don't use floss, so thanks for the way to use it all up lol
I really like that wide flat stapler thingy...EK success. I need me, one of those thingys lol (I have never seen or heard of that thing before). And the mini journal/booklet turned out so cute 😊
Thanks Sharon! I am going to make a playlist on ways to make many different types of journals! I will pop this video in there for easy reference :) Pam :)
Hi Susan! Thanks kindly! We are blessed to have many wonderful instructors in our junk journal community :) I have learned so much from so many of them. I am eternally grateful for all their input :)
hHm.... Great ideas as always... I can't do that,.crafting with a clock under my eyes !!! too stressful for me ;))) I learned an amazing tip today : using dental thread !! I must try this...TFS your creations...They makes more embellishments for our JJ. big hugs Pam....see you next video....(I am preparing your parcel...)
Hi Christine! Yes the timer does add a new dimension to crafting! :) Chin dripping pressure can sometimes yield the most interesting results...or sometimes...just a curious look at the weird crumpled ball of paper and glue I just made. Ya just never know ;) Pam :) You are such a sweetheart! :)
Hello there Joyful Journal Maker! You make me laugh. I could never do things like this under time pressure - AND filming! Thank you for showing the 3-hole pamphlet stitch, I needed a reminder. Have only done one JJ myself, and when I was stitching the pages were suddenly not aligned properly any more - don't know what happened...! Excellent tip with he dental thread! Hats off to your husband for being so considerate when you're Youtubing! After a bad week (migraine en masse) I managed to get to Panduro today (a Danish hobby store that's all over Sweden & Norway) - 30% off on the whole range. YAY! Amongst other things I bought an awl, you inspire me to try and do another journal Want to do lots in the future! Have a great weekend! /Ditte
Hi Ditte! The curse of the unaligned pages strikes us all! Often its because the signature gets turned upside down. Try putting a little dot at the top to denote the top. That can help tremendously! My hubs is very understanding. He makes training videos for his work so we are in constant tip-toe mode around here :) Have a beautiful Sunday Ditte! :)
@@ThePaperOutpost THANK YOU for the alignement tip! Cheers for understanding hubbies! I obviously don't do YT videos, but my husband really supports my crafting. "I get happy seeing that you're so happy". He loves to travel but before he book trips for us he checks if there are a craft store at the destination. I've been to craft stores in Ireland, Prague, Riga (Latvia), Tallinn (Estonia), Norway and more. It's great to get stuff that you have never seen here in Sweden. I will try to make the little journal book, I like it a lot. But I have no idex cards. So I have to come up with something else and have no ink to fix the corners and cards. I'm a member of your Facebook group (But in my real name, and have my cat as a picture).
Pam, I saw a video of the most adorable little journal you made with inserts and pull outs and now I can't find it anywhere. Do you remember what that video was called? My oldest granddaughter would LOVE it!
