Tom Was Here: WWE Smackdown - Pittsburgh, PA - April 2024

Took a trip on Friday to PPG Paints arena in Pittsburgh, PA for WWE Smackdown. This is my first show of the Paul Levesque era and an exciting time for wrestling. I waited until the last minute for tickets as per usual and found a solid deal on the Loge seating at PPG. The loge seating is terrific and is worth checking out if you can get them. It’s on the suite level and has a swivel chair, bar top, menu and concierge to bring you the food when you order it. It also has spacing between chairs for a more comfortable experience overall. As for the show, they had announced Cody Rhodes for it but he was actuallly at a house show in London. Beyond that though, it was pretty good. They had Triple H come out and introduce the new tag titles which are awesome. Several number 1 contenders matches both for the world title and tag titles. Another chapter in solo taking over the bloodline, an uncle howdy tease, and a women’s world title match that ran into Tiffy Time. There were also some solid dark matches.
