BTW, I didn’t know where to comment so I just chose this vid. Things I think should be added to 3008:
1. Base Owner Waypoints; this kinda sounds like a bad idea, but hear me out: Waypoints that show if the base is abandoned or not, if the owner placed a waypoint. The other players can only see it from a short distance. There may be more griefers, but I have ideas for that too.
2. Teaming: You can build a team(maximum 50) and invite players to join your group, and add roles. The players in your team can move the furniture that you have locked(see below). This means griefers can act nice and join your team, but I have ideas.
3. Furniture Lock: basically if you want to, you can lock the furniture USED FOR THE BASE and keep from moving anymore. Only the people on your “team” can move the furniture.
4. Base Area Barrier: sounds wacky, but you can select a specific area that you will use for your base, like, you want your base be 16 studs by 10 studs. You can also use a area map so you can show how big the area is.
5. Door Highlighter: The owner of a base can mark a piece of furniture as the “door” where people can enter.
6. Personal Food: You can mark the food you’re saving for later and cannot pick up any more food in your inventory. If someone;s inventory is full and decides to mark more, they must empty out some of their inventory.
7. Guest In The House: The team or solo player can decide to let a player stay for a while in their base, marking them as a “guest” in the base. They will only be permanent if they join the base.
GRIEFER REMOVAL PROJECT IDEAS:
1. Vote Out Griefers: FOR TEAMS ONLY; the people in the team can vote out the person if they are not doing things correctly(this needs 50% of the team, and one extra person, and will let the player join other teams), or they can kick out the griefer(this needs 65% of the team, and the person kicked out cannot join another team). This means teams can troll, but I have ideas for that too.
2. Server Kick: The whole server has been annoyed by the griefer, and decide to vote the player out in a server vote, which means the griefer is kicked from the game(FOR EXTREME THINGS ONLY)
3. Removal From Base: only for uninvited people that stay in people’s bases; the owner or group in the base can decide to remove the player, if they don’t ask to join or ask to stay for a while. Can have more trolls, but I have ideas for that.
LESS TROLLING IDEAS:
1. The person trolled can mark the team as “trolling” and leave the trolling team. If the trolling team doesn’t revoke the team troll(yes, they can revoke it if the choose to), they can be kicked.
2. The player in the base is given 1 minute to explain themselves, and the base team has only 2 options: let the person stay for 1 night, but kick them out in the morning and they cannot move the furniture or mark any of the food, or the other option: let the person stay for a certain amount of nights, 0 is not available, they cannot mark food, but they can add to the base and receive food from players.

My building technique is building a dome with a straight tunnel that requires crouching and sliding, and they covering it with as much furniture as possible.
i do the exact same thing and i was thinking that i was the only person to do that(sorry for my bad english its not my native tongue)

i have a real story to tell : when i was playing in scp 3008, a group of griefer come and destroy my base, in this group of person there was a man called "jfw", i died because of them and when i come back there was a man called "jfm" in my base who was rebuilding it like he want, and on the moment, i didn't realized that that was not the same guy who griefed me... so i was destroying what he was doing and trying to rebuild my base and after that he quit, and then i realized... i feel so bad 😭... i tried to add him in friend but i know there's no chance he accept... sorry for my bad english it's not my native tongue
