Hi Joelle, I was just wondering if you could give me any advice on becoming an Online Sociology Tutor. I have an MA in Social and Cultural Theory, but I'm 63 with no teaching certificate. I'd like to go into freelance sociology tutuoring on the strength of my MA.
hi Joe, thanks for the question! there are a lot of tutoring sites out there that can give you a leg up - I know people who have used superprof.co.uk and mytutor.co.uk
Currently a second year student didn't really know anything about sociology and was just going with the flow and now I realised I gotta change luckily I like the sub I don't really know what I was gonna do but now I want to know more about it any advice ;-;
hey! that's a great question, I'd say start exploring the areas you particularly are interested in! you'll typically have to do a dissertation / research project so you could base that on what topic you're most excited by
I had a question regarding a sociology degree, I recently got my associates in arts and I am transferring to a university to get my degree in Sociology. I always wanted to work overseas and was wondering if that would be achievable once I get my bachelors in sociology?
Was there anything that surprised you? Comment anything else you'd like to know about Sociology or graduating with a sociology degree!
