There is one restaurant called 212, the morning 小炒 was very nice, especially the kong fu yin yong & hokien mee...miss the 古早味very much, the猪油查so fresh& crunchy 😋😋😋
This episode at Taman Midah ( aka Bolton Garden ) has brought great treats - from the Hor Yip rice --> old taste 70's Wantan Mee --> HK roast meat --> spring rolls & desserts --> famous teowchew fishball noodle ...... elderly auntie Muar's nasi lemak - all looks great and I'm sure tasted as good as it's looks. Coupled with the introduction of both the historical part and the current affairs - it is Yatt Lau , Elmo. Again -thank you Elmo for your time and effort to bring another great food haunt episode to us. May I asked if it is possible ( or convenient ) to have an episode based on great fried noodles in KL. Stay Safe and Stay Healthy.
Great episode. I visit this place about once a month - normally eats the Teochew fish ball, and BKT. Will try the other recommendations esp the tong sui but probably not the morning market as I am in only at lunch time. There are apparently many old style Chinese restaurents here and in Yulek, Taynton and Connaught. Probably need your tow locals to guide you. Great job. Keep it up.
Elmo, thanks for another great video and recommendations. When I am there, I only go for the Pork Organs Pepper Soup, at the main entrance of Taman Midah. I do like it.
another great video ... most of the food looks so delicious ! Another spot for food adventure ! I Yes, tong sui stalls are a very rare commodity nowadays ! Please take car of your health and speedy recovery !
Thanks for allowing me to tag along on this trip. Now I learned it's lots of work to do one episode. It takes many more qualities to go on and on, especially at your young age. 😀 Cheers!
Hey elmo, I have same situation with your granddaughters. I'm unvaccinated (allergic to medicine and given a vaccination exclusion letter by doctor), and tested positive half year ago. I just had fever a day and fully recovered without any sequela on the next day till now. Meanwhile, my relatives who have vaccinated, all of them having very serious sequelae after infected by covid-19 virus, just like you. Wish you in good health, Elmo
Malaysia has many st market shops with colorful delicacies .Thank Mr. Lee for intro the history and food of various districts in Malaysia yummy yummy 🤤🙏
Elmo, since you are in Subang, I would like to recommend you to try the Prawn & Curry Noodles at Only U Restaurant over at nearby Glenmarie. I agree with you that it's quite hard to find a decent Wat Tan Hor. I think the Wat Tan Hor at Dai Cha Dim at Da Men Mall is quite good (but beware it's RM20+ per plate 😬!)

We all extremely glad that justice has been served as the former MO1 (brother chicken)is thrown into jail finally for his greatest heist committed, but who on earth can be certain that he will not get a parole or pardon, if his party managed to get a landslide victory again in the coming general election? Many a time we had been fooled by the judiciary system in boleh land, that's why I restrain myself from being too optimistic. Come back on noodle, Wanton mee is still my favorite kind of noodle versus other noodles. If my memory serves me right, big majority of Wanton mee sellers serve good Wanton mee, if not excellent, at least better than what I am able to get in where I am living now, in my point of view.
Sorry that you caught Covid-19 but instead of being disappointed with the vaccines, that you had, much data has proven that vaccines do protect us from severe outcomes. So as an influencer, I think what you said may have more of a negative impact than positive No one cheated you
@@malaysiafood328 Hahaha Ivermectin availability and use for Covid-19 is illegal in Malaysia and most places. Anyway it is wise for a food blogger and influencer like you to steer clear of controversial topics eg politics and anti -vaccine comments Just a friendly advice from a fan ☝️🤗
Danny's explanation of "Chinese" vegetarianism doesn't tell the whole story. Garlic and onion are thought to give rise to impure (sexual) thoughts in Hinduism and Buddhism and should therefore be avoided by practitioners. Some Malaysian Chinese like Danny have unknowingly incorporated the dietary restrictions of other cultures and religions. Same situation with Malaysian Chinese's avoidance of beef, it's not an inherently Chinese preference to not eat beef.
Yeah, I also got Covid two weeks ago and it took me 7 days to recover despite having two rounds of Sinovac and one booster of Pfizer. I also have to say that only certain areas in Cheras like Connaught are popular for food choices
