I'm KJ Lin, and just started my youtube channel, and you are definetely one of my inspirations. And yes, you can use that screen real estate -- the curve helps with secondary info screens for post production, file management, side entertainment like spotify and other secondary windows like permanent stock monitor programs.

@@krazymeanie I keep windows I constantly reference up top. Ranging from stocks to spotify to data indicators. I wouldn't want them cloggin up my core working space on middle left and right which I use for post production, research, stock analysis, videos, obs/recording, etc. I have a video coming up about it on my new youtube channel.

You can really see the work you put into the style of it, everything goes together so well, it has such a dark, gritty SciFi vibe to it, obviously inspired by the likes of Alien. You can really see the details and how the wall panels, the lines of the desk, the front of the drawers, the all black peripherals, the wallpaper, mousepad, the blinds all have a unified shape language and consistent colouring, absolutely fantastic dude, Giger would be proud of this setup.

@@sparkplugbarrens I tend to have some permanent windows up all the times (spotify, certain stock programs, monitoring programs, data) that occupy space on my side monitors that I want to use for other things like post production, research and other activities. So I decided to put those permanent windows up top, where I have better access all the time, and it won't take up space anymore in my key viewing area.
2nd to the last one is my favourite setup. If only I can have that setup in a van or bus, my life would be complete. In a room setup though, two 49" super ultrawide with monitors on portrait in each side would be perfect.

Obviously not a full gym, was thinking a gaming + tv + workout section, would consist of a squat rack, some dumbbells bar bells, etc let me know if you manage to find a setup like this, been difficult to find and i think unsure of anyone has even tried to do it.
love the set-ups - the 3rd one - with the 3 larger monitors(48 + 49 + 49 ). He drives them all with a 3090...? will the 3090 drive them all fairly well...? ( i have a 6800xt and wonder if it will drive one plus plus a smaller side monitor..?)
That's my setup. Yep 3090 is enough. Its actually 4k + 2K + 2K (side monitors) and a 1K monitor inside the case. There's actually 4 monitors. I can play high frame rate games no problem with all this.
@@gaspersavle161 Yes. If they were flat, they'd be unusable, but the 1000R curve actually makes it very readable, and useful for some permanent windows i keep up, it also gives me space below to be flexible.

Man.. I would REALLLLLLLY like to know what the monitor arms used on Mikes set up are. Is he running 3 Monitor arms (1 dual for the center monitors, 1 for the left and right one)? Or 1 massive monitor arm set up? I neeeed this set up for my work from home and gaming set up.

This is exactly how I want my room to look but I cant figure out what shelves to use, including the one for the manga as I have a large collection as well and these would be perfect! @@SoloHasRisen Thank you very much! appreciate it :) Sounds like a good plan! Lighting the shelves was a piece of work haha. I drilled holes on every shelf level in order to be able to pass all the lightstrips through.

I tried running a curved 49 vertical next to my 48 c1 and it was an absolute nightmare. Totally unusable. I couldn't imagine trying to run 2 lol.
