Everything in aot is relateble to our world, thats what i call a Masterpiece. Aot isn't just a fictional world, its much more than that

Today, November 4, 2023, the final episode of the Attack on Titan anime will be shown in a few hours, 10 years after the first episode was broadcast. I hope that this memory will remain here as I count the minutes to watch it, and my feelings are overflowing with sadness and a strange feeling because I will bid farewell to a masterpiece that will never be repeated. Such a beauty melody, one of the most striking sounds I've ever heard. It's haunting and melancholic yet so beautiful and peaceful. When I listen it makes me grateful to have lived in this world and experienced an expression of such wonderful beauty.
As tragic as this beautiful story is, I feel at peace knowing that Eren lived a meaningful life and is at peace.
Ofcourse we'd love a happy ending where Eren lived and could be with Mikasa, but that doesn't mean their love wasn't special. Ofcourse he desired to be with Mikasa and his friends but he truly believed in his own sacrifice for them.
"The world is cruel, but I still love you". This perfectly encapsulates that the world broke them through the sacrifices they made but their love endured. Eren sacrificed his final years of happiness with Mikasa to stay and defend Paradis so his friends could live peaceful lives. Mikasa sacrificed her love to save what remained of the world, and also freed Ymir from the consequences of the sacrifice she could not make. Despite the cruelty of these sacrifices they loved eachother and what matters is their freedom, resilience & choice to rise above that pain and see the beauty in the world, their love.
His love for Mikasa affirms though this world does not seem worth living in, there are people worth living for. It eases the heartache of saying goodbye knowing despite the dark path Eren went down, he still lived a meaningful and fulfilling life where he loved and was loved both in the paths with Mikasa and the world. "The world is cruel, but it's also beautiful". This is because of the love Eren and Mikasa had for eachother. They were eachothers constant companion and peace.

Really love how Samuel brought back some old themes that we haven't heard in a long time in AoT. Like "Call of Silence" at 0:57 and then "Counter Attack-Mankind" at 1:37. When I heard these two being referenced in this incredible arrangement, I just felt so many emotions flood back in me because it just threw me way back to those earlier episodes. Don't get me wrong, I love AoT right now, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss what it used to be. I guess I just miss the feeling of curiosity and the not knowing how the story would turn out. But since I've already read the manga, it's like that "magic" is not necessarily gone, but just not the same. Really going to miss this masterpiece of a show when it's finally finished.

After finishing final part 2 and coming back to this to cry, I can confirm that there is nothing closer to perfection than AOT
I realized Eren and Mikasa never slowed down to take in all they have accomplished. The suffering and despair in their lives forces them to keep moving forward with their duties, prompting them to give their best effort in every difficult circumstance. I have been watching the series for a year and just realized how big they have grown from kids. Even to me, as a viewer, I have rarely thought about Eren and Mikasa being adults, no longer kids with limitless ambitions. This music is beautiful, this anime is not real, but so realistic at the same time.
This January 2024, The Dub of the final Attack On Titan episode came out, i watched it within in the first hour. Truly a feeling that'll only happen once in a lifetime. After finishing it, i felt a massive hole left in my heart. Really a Masterpiece ❤

is beautiful. I always knew this song belonged to Eren and Mikasa. a couple who sacrificed their happiness for the world. Now I understand, he didn't want to continue with that destiny, he wanted to be next to the woman he loves. It hurts, it hurts a lot. I cried, I cried so much that my eyes were swollen. and it hurts more for Mikasa, she lost many people and especially the man she loved, I love the characters, it is not a fairy tale since they did not have a happy ending, only them, in some way I feel Mikasa's pain but it hurts plus see them in El Más Allá finally together. Maybe others do not understand and only criticize, but the couple in all anime who despite their love had to sacrifice themselves for a humanity that does not change. This is one of the most realistic and beautiful theme, I've personally encountered in fiction. This theme resonates throughout the story through many events and characters.
This is one of the most prominent themes in AoT from the very start, and is beautifully portrayed from different perspectives, character dynamics and subtle yet substantial details throughout the narrative which makes this much more complex and can be interpreted in myriad of ways.
