The TV will only recognize the sound thru hdmi if that's the jack your sending video to TV with. Use a splitter before TV. Buy a $100 home Amp that has hdmi input and output so Amp controls audio and TV receives video and audio. Turn TV settings to external speakers only and your sound will be thru Amp to speakers. Be sure Amp is on by plugging TV power cord into Amp power source. So TV cones on when you power up the Amp.
All tvs are being converted to hdmi so copy right infringement is reduced to nothing. So by purchasing a home Amp you can once again be in controll of what you can hear and view thru your TV. From every device that sends the source your after. Games music movies home videos all need sent thru a home Amp first if you don't want issues. And restrictions. Tvs that receive data and send it back out are notorious for being used to produce pirated products sold on black market. That violate copy right laws. Just like vcr s were once used. That's why DVD players are not DVD recorders.. copy right infringement Needs to be ended for ever.

How To Connect Speakers to TV Without a Receiver Technology doesn’t work every time. Many of our technologies have failed as a result of our negligence in the past. In this situation, we’re referring to the receivers on our televisions, which are a type of equipment that connects all of our television’s audio sources to our speaker system. You may have trouble hearing the audio on the display if the receiver is faulty. There’s no need to be worried because there are still other options for connecting speakers to the TV without the usage of a receiver. Why can’t you connect your speakers? In many circumstances, you won’t be able to connect the speakers to the TV directly. Basic connectors such as RCA, Aux, HDMI-ARC, and Optical can be found on the back of the TV. They don’t have ports for speaker wires; therefore, you’ll have to connect to the TV with speaker wires. How To Connect Speakers to TV Without Receiver? In most circumstances, a device between the TV and the speaker is required. If you don’t want to utilize a receiver or a huge amplifier, you can use a control box, mini-amps, and a digital-to-analog converter. Most individuals try to connect with a passive speaker in most settings, which is why we say most cases. Connect Speakers to Tv Via Bluetooth You’re used to wireless connections, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise to learn that you can connect your speakers to your TV using a Bluetooth connection. In fact, wireless connections are a huge benefit because they eliminate the need to purchase additional devices to connect your audio and video. Furthermore, there are no wires strewn about the house. Connect Speakers to Tv by Making Use of a Hub If you’ve never heard of a hub for audio and video connections, you’ll be pleased you did today. A hub is a sort of repeater that connects computers to form a local area network. However, because its notion is extremely similar to that of a receiver, it can be used as a substitute. Connect Speakers to TV Using a Direct Connection as a Third Option . Direct connections are similar to wireless connections; however, the former makes use of the speaker’s wires. Connecting the speaker directly to the TV is known as a direct connection. This strategy may work for some people, but it does not work for the majority of people. There’s not a lot of science behind it, especially since direct connections aren’t the best option when you don’t have a receiver. Regardless, it’s worth a try. How To Connect Speakers to TV Without a Receiver
Technology doesn’t work every time.

Connect Speakers to Tv Via Bluetooth
You’re used to wireless connections, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise to learn that you can connect your speakers to your TV using a Bluetooth connection. Furthermore, there are no wires strewn about the house.
Connect Speakers to Tv by Making Use of a Hub
If you’ve never heard of a hub for audio and video connections, you’ll be pleased you did today.
