Its the style, it's like fading with pain and feelings... Geoff Tate in early Queensryche does that in many songs. Queensryche five albums have many many songs with that style of singing with the music but it is dark because of the lyrics. I believe that Doro Pesch vocally is in the same element as Geoff Tate because they both are dark and mysterious in many songs that are not in the public view, but that is the journey you have to take to begin to really Hear those amazing painful and emotional and spiritual vocals/music that are distincfully nice to hear..

Please check out the band BUDGIE and start with the song PARENTS - The song is the last one on the album Never Turn Your Back on a friend - which both my father and i have been listening to for 40 respectively 10 years - and still not gotten tired of - amazing album. Budgie was founded in the late 60s and although not as famous as bands like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, certainly in the same class musically and one of the forefathers of hard rock. They have been covered several times by for example Metallica and Van Halen. Keep in mind when listening to Budgie they are only three in total, the singer is also the bassist. Enjoy!

One of these is a goth/metal group from Milan Italy called Lacuna Coil. It is fronted by female vocalist Cristina Scabbia and male vocalist Andrea Ferro.
