10 minutes dough to make Spinach Fatayer from scratch

  • Hello Everyone, Today, We are making Yummy Spinach Fatayer with great 10 mins dough!
    ingredients:
    For the dough //
    5 cups all-purpose flour
    ½ cup vegetable oil
    1-2 tablespoons sugar
    3 tablespoons powdered milk
    1 tablespoon active dry yeast
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1 teaspoon salt
    2 cups warm milk or warm water
    For the Filling
    500 gram of spinach
    ½ tablespoon salt for chopped spinach
    1 teaspoon salt for the chopped onion
    2 red onions
    ¼ cup sumac
    salt for the filling
    Filling:
    Wash and chop the spinach.
    Sprinkle ½ tablespoon of salt over the chopped spinach and let it sit for a few minutes. Then squeeze out excess water from the spinach.
    Finely chop 2 red onions and sprinkle 1 teaspoon of salt over them.
    sauté the chopped spinach, chopped onions, ¼ cup of sumac, and salt to taste.
    Dough:
    In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoons of sugar, 3 tablespoons of powdered milk, 1 tablespoon of active dry yeast, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Mix dry Ingredients together.
    pour 2 cups of warm milk and mix then set aside for 10-15 minutes until it doubled in size.
    pour in ½ cup of vegetable oil and the rest 3 cups of flour.
    Mix the ingredients until a dough forms.
    Knead the dough on a floured surface until it becomes smooth and elastic, about 8-10 minutes.
    cover it with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size. then make the Fatayer!
