I just wanted to pass along a shrink plastic tip. If you heat your pieces under a metal grid or mesh like hardware cloth they never curl up. No burning your finger tips. Pretty sure Sizzix had a shrink plastic tool kit that included a grid, silicone mat, & tools. Surprised SSS doesn’t have their own version. But you don’t have to buy specialty tools when metal screening or hardware cloth will get the job done.
I love making jewelry with shrink film... and oh my goodness YES! why Not embellishments!! 🤦♀️

I absolutely love shrink sheets! These gift card holders turned out so great!
These are so much fun! I remember “Shrinky-Dink” plastic from way back when (I would watch thru the oven window hoping and praying they would not curl up and stick to themselves lol), so cool that these can be heated with embossing gun! I would put a little hole in it so string could be attached! TYFS! ❤️🦋💜❄️🌲

Nina your envelopes turned out so cute especially the shrink plastic embellishments you made. I have some shrink plastic that’s probably 8-10 yrs. old. I guess it would still work. Will have to try and see. The shirt you were wearing looked almost like the plaid pattern paper. Lol

Cute! I’ve never worked with the shrink material, but I’ve seen a video where someone used a craft pick to keep it from blowing around too much while heating it. Don’t burn your fingers! 😊❤️
I’ve used a pick in the past to hold mine but it can be tricky not to get a tiny little mark
I always panic when the plastic curls up! lol
