Sweet video! Yeah that was the first thing I did when I bought mine with 16k miles on it. It looked like it was never done even though the manual called for every 2 years and it’s 3 years old.

Thanks! It probablly depends on how often the HVAC is used & how dirty the outside air is. I can't imagine taking the car in to the dealer & being charged a 1/2 hour labor for this.

I am trying to find the correct cabin air filter for the 2017 500e. Is it the same size as the other gas powered 500 cars?

FYI My 2014 uses a 7/32 socket and the filter is too thin, much thinner than the original unit that came out.
