Can someone enlighten me why they use the term "roller" for a 1:1 voting?

ローラー (roller) is a strategy term from Werewolf, which is a game of deduction and psychological warfare in which wolves are discovered among the villagers and hung. It’s usually a strategy aimed at people who claim to hold the same position.
For example, if two people claim to hold the position of Doctor, you’d know that one of them is lying as there can only be one, and so a ‘roller’ would be done which basically means to eliminate both of them one after another.
In this case with Miyabi and Temma, Temma claims that he saw Miyabi kill Aruran, but because Temma thinks that everyone doesn’t trust him anymore because of the previous round, he suggested doing a ‘roller’ which just means to vote off both him and Miyabi, but they forgot about it lol
