Thank you. Working on getting some faster PB's. We made some changes to the Limitless and the XO-1, but this weather is not cooperating, been raining everyday!
You have a very nice XO-1 I just got mine put together and been running it the past few weeks I have not put it on 6s yet I still have to post my limitless I like that low kv motor you showed sorry to see the downed drone
Thank you. Yes, I've been through alot with that XO-1! It gave me hell, but I refused to give up! lol. Finally I got it to go straight and got it to stay on the ground. So just concentrating on more speed now. It's a great feeling and great adrenaline rush when it goes straight and does what it's supposes to do! Still waiting on a video of yours! If you need any help or advice, let me know.
@@jaysonpunancy4144 Thanks Jayson. Ive been concentrating on my Tamiya TT02 and my Slash 4x4. I cleaned my rear diff and put 2 million viscosity diff fluid in essentially locking the rear. Plus I cut the back of the body out. Put some Arrma Hoons on it and hoping it does better than 90mph this Friday if the weather hold out. Its getting colder and rainy in Toronto. I have done a few mods to my TT02 so Im hoping she can carry me to triple digits this Friday.🤞
@@KaizerTest Yes, I want to see that TT02 hit triple digits as well. With the XO1, get some BSR foam tires. One of the biggest problems I had was the tires. I also tried those Hoons. They were better than the XO1 tires but still ended up blowing them out as well. Switched to the foams and never looked back! Lol.
@@jaysonpunancy4144 I just made an adapter to run two 3s in series for 6s total and I went up to a 6900kv motor from the 5900kv. I held the TT02 and ran it about 3/4 throttle and the front BSR foam tire came apart! These were new with only 5-6 passes on them. I ran it before on 4s in my hand and the tires stayed intact. It's going to be pretty wild controlling this thing. I'm thinking my aerodynamics will probably be the limiting factor again. But 6s should have the power to get me to 100mph for sure. I'd rather do it on 3s or 4s...but at this point I will take what I can before winter...lol.
Congrats on your run. If you dont mind me asking, what are some things that you have done to get the xo1 to go straight? I thought about getting rid of mine, but I like the challenge.
Thank you! To go straight I took out steering slop. First replaced some of the plastic steering parts with aluminum and modified the servo saver to be stiffer. Also changed to a stronger servo. If you're doing speed runs you have to turn down your steering dual rates way down. Also replace the tires with foam tires. Ballooning of the tires will cause the car to steer in different directions, depending on which tire is ballooning the most. Then just practice very tiny steering movements on higher speeds. You will need less movement the faster you go. I do have a scene in the beginning of the video where you can see the controller while I'm driving. Take note on how very tiny my steering inputs are. I'm also not using the gyro on this car. Using the gyro may help you. I was not comfortable using it. I would try it out on different gyro settings and then without to see what's more comfortable for you.
@@raking9481 Ah ok. Yes everything I said will still work. Drag racing is a little bit different so you should experiment with different diff oils as well. Also the gyro would definitely help more in your application, so I would experiment with that as well. Foam tires would still help to make it less of a handful.
Nice motor I'm getting the limitless this week your gears sounds like something off. Or grinding or is it me. I trying this new motor I saw on the web. It's surpass hobby 2200kv. V2. An there esc. I also bought hobbywing 2200kv. With the Maxx 8. What do u guys an gals. Think.
Flipping awesome video. Plain and simple . I am going to race my XO-1 Against yours buddy 😉. That Limitless you got shit............. That car has got some serious balls. Please make more videos.
We use the same batteries in both cars, but we have a variety of batteries. The two that seem to work best are the ProtekRC 120c LiHV batteries and the Hobbystar 100c LiHV batteries. The Hobbystar is much cheaper. The Protek is a high performance racing battery for 1/8 offroad racing so pretty high priced.
Yes, it's a GT5 radio. Love that radio. I was using it for a couple of my race buggies, but now use a couple of Sanwa radios for those. I still use the GT5 for the XO-1 and some of my bashers. Very good radio and really cheap for what you get!
@@jaysonpunancy4144 i like it a lot... i was using traxxas, hobby king, and tactics. wanted to reduce the #of transmitters so i tried the dx4c felt good and range was good and wanted avc. i've run some 10th scale stuff with it. my 8th scale typhon limitless habao and xo-1 and some other stuff...
Thank you! Appreciate the support. Yeah finally got that thing driving straight. I think I worked out all the bugs in the Limitless so gonna try and get some passes this weekend. Mavic should be ok, ordered all the parts to repair it. What you think about that Mavic Mini? I'm thinking of getting one..
I'd set that drone to hover about 5' off the ground in the firing line of the car so you can get a good shot coming in and then have the drone turn during the transition..... I think that would be a good safe bet to get a fly shot!
Glad I found this just got a xo 1 like brand new in box could u do a setup video please
Awesome video very nice passes with the Xo1 congrats on the new pb hopefully everything gets worked out with the Limitless great job thumbs up 👍

That wing is sick..how did you mount that
Thank you. I 3D printed a wing mount and borrowed a wing from my Tekno 1/8 buggy.
If you had to have just one witch one would it be?
Good runs bro subscribed the drone looked like a bird on the ground that hit a windshield I did 107 today with my limitless that’s my pb
Thanks! Congrats on your PB! Be careful, that adrenaline rush is addictive!
Limitless looks way sicker then xo1,looks so much nicer
Wrecking crew. Nice ls tho. Got the same one. At least that won’t break

Looking for fast RC cars and run into an old acquaintance from south Florida . How’s it going man ?
wich battery do you use? did you use the same in x01 as the limitless?

The Arrma Limitless is still better than the X0-1 in overall quality and potential to go much faster with less modifications.
Like # 8 that xo1 running like a champ it's well planted to the ground dam sucks about the esc and then the mavic 💵💵💵 that's all bad 🤦🏾♂️

the limitless semes to be more stable...than the x01 but i personnaly preffer the x01
What gearing
Honesty can't remember off the top if my head. I can check though. What car were you asking for?
You need CV joints all around this car

What is a PB?
personal best
Xo-1
Don’t like traxxas x 01 as much as felony…. X01 only made to go no higher than 6s
And if the cat ran its way
at such a high speed
he would fly from tonds to china or uuuuuuuuu
Dude is mad because his limitless is slow it's all about your gear set up not motor size
