Been running a 1500.1 and 400.4 basically since launch. I was one of the first in line. (i got a 1000.1, but bought the 1500.1 when it came out later). These boards, just work. I am old and cant/struggle to hear many freq's, especially in the upper bands, but they sound killer, wicked small foot print, and the price is awesome, I've been the hell out of these things, (off roading/camping, running them for hours and hours on end) and all they do, is power up, work, sound great and run cool doing it. EDIT- (hertz tweeters/satori mids/xfire subs- gately enclosure/dsp)

@DAmoreEngineering- How important is Damping factor? Is it very noticeable, if 1 Amplifier had a Damping factor of 500, @ 4 ohms, @ 100 Hz, vs a 2cnd Amplifier that theoretically had all of the same other specs., the exact same as amplifier #1, with the only difference being that this second amplifier had a Damping factor of only 50, @ 4 ohms, @ 100 Hz? How does, or could the Higher Damping amplifier #1, affect the Sq performance, pertaining to the accuracy, and impact? Is it easier to hear the difference of a higher Damping factor amplifier on a Subwoofer, Mid-Bass, Midrange, or Tweeters the most? Or will Amplifier #1 with the much higher Damping factor, affect ALL speakers fairly equally? Thanks for your time, and Great video👌👏🎉

Pretty much every modern amplifier will have a damping factor high enough to be WELL beyond the point of audibility. Unless you have something like an OTL tube amp

Can the sub channel off the E 660.5 be used to run a center channel. What frequency does it play to? I plan on running tweets mids and 1 center. It has the perfect wattage for each speaker!

unfortunately channel 5 has a non-defeatable low pass crossover adjustable from 50-250Hz only

Mr D amore I'm curious. I know it has your name on it. But did you design the circuit? The reason I ask is more or less your personal opinion. Comparing these to the rockford Amps

JL have the worst sounding amps.. no soundstage at all and cost 4x's what they are worth .. had to say it!
I have the Excelon XR401-4 (yes.. a Kenwood after using the JL XD & RD series) on a set of Peerless SLS 6.5's and it sounds wider, realistic and has some serious kick.
I amp looking to use this E400.4 amp bridged to a set of 6.5" Anarchys...
Tony.. does the E400.4 play at 12 dB/octave on both Low and Hi pass filters?
