If an issue has to be debated why can't present himself as a leader of a state who can work with with his peers to come up with solutions and policies that would most likely be accepted by the Federal states as I understand this being a federal problem but that grossly affects those states bordering Mexico. How is it that DeSantis is showing that he's not at interested in any of this. He wants to make a show of how his leadership can sway public opinion, a show of strong action by a strong leader. But did it work, no, not at all. It might have highlighted the problem and made people unaffected by this problem aware. Was he even ready for the backlash, he should have been. He's being sued by the migrants and he will be charged for trafficking. There could have much more effective ways of doing this which will even achieve more awareness. If an issue has to be debated why can't present himself as a leader of a state who can work with with his peers to come up with solutions and policies that would most likely be accepted by the Federal states as I understand this being a federal problem but that grossly affects those states bordering Mexico. How is it that DeSantis is showing that he's not at interested in any of this. He wants to make a show of how his leadership can sway public opinion, a show of strong action by a strong leader. But did it work, no, not at all. It might have highlighted the problem and made people unaffected by this problem aware. Was he even ready for the backlash, he should have been.
