It's been three years since my younger brother died of cancer, it's an irreparable pain, but God has been present every day and sustained a happy and hopeful heart despite death. In Christ we have eternal life, what a real and true comfort! How liberating it is to cry knowing that one day this pain will be nothing more than a distant memory.

Evie - the way that you presented this piece reminded me of when I watched your audition on AGT. I wished I could’ve been there in person to just give you a hug at that time when you broke down crying while sharing your dad’s cancer diagnosis. Furthermore, your performance really made me emotional and I can’t imagine a life without my parents. I would cry too if I was stricken with that news that either of my parents were diagnosed with cancer (especially if it’s terminal). I wished I could’ve been there in person to just give you a hug at that time when you broke down crying while sharing your dad’s cancer diagnosis. Furthermore, your performance really made me emotional and I can’t imagine a life without my parents. I would cry too if I was stricken with that news that either of my parents were diagnosed with cancer (especially if it’s terminal). This song has touched my heart especially since you sang this song with so much emotion. My heartfelt condolences, deepest sympathies, and prayers go out to you and your family.
