I struggled to get the contact connected to the account. The reason was I used recordid ("i" in small caps) when I needed to use recordId ("I" in capital caps) instead. Hope this helps someone.

One question, towards the end when the Fault message displays the 'API Dev Guide' , how do we update the fault message so this is not present for the user? you have shared in the video that the exception generated can be removed and it can be totally customized, I dont see that in future videos. Do you have any resolution?
Hello Apex Hour, thank you for this video. I created the resource - Variable - Text - Recordid correctly, and I called out Accountid to the resource recordid in the create record element. The contact is created but it is not related to the account.

I followed all steps as you did , but my contact is not getting mapped with the Account. I have created variable with text data type available for input & used it in create record. but still its not working. Please help me on this.
I had the same issue - once I went back in created a new variable with the same name that he used it worked. I used a different name (varRecordId) which wouldn't work. Not sure if that is the same error you have but it was what was causing mine not to work
